When Mr Trump discards Elon like a soiled handkerchief, the ensuing debacle will be nothing short of operatic. One might even say… disastrous. As dear Mr. Wilson so astutely observes, the unraveling of this particular alliance will leave Mr. Trump in a rather precarious—dare I say, perilous—position. But then, watching the powerful entangle themselves in their own webs has always been a most fascinating pastime.
