My battle against the Ribaa fiat dragon 🐉 rages on!! In my own attempt at living 100% on Bitcoin for the last 3 years, mainly using @cz_binance’s crypto debit card since 2020 (previously swipe card) to pay for everything, I’ve eventually given myself the evil eye and they cancelled the card a few days ago, no explanation. When I was at @brucefenton’s “Satoshi’s Round Table” event, I wanted to inspire people to live on ₿itcoin and I was very vocal about me doing so, and I even shook CZ’s hand and told him thank you for having this facility (he looked a bit confused why I was doing that 😂)…and a few weeks later they cancelled it!! lol 😂 Just goes to show, even with these ‘solutions’ they are STILL within the very system we want to end, the banking system, and due to that, they still have their feet on our necks. We need to work harder to get ₿itcoin accepted natively so we can’t be cancelled again!!

Why Nostr Matters

Nostr is a new protocol for censorship resistant speech and social sharing. It has great potential but has plenty of challenges to overcome.

Rejecting fiat currency built on Ribaa & adopting Bitcoin as an alternative will promote social justice & cohesion in Muslim society, empowering individuals to transact without interest-based dealings. Let's take a stand against Ribaa & build a fair & equitable economic Islamic system with #Bitcoin. We need to make systems and alternatives using the Islamic framework we already have, but to do that we need to learn how to do business as a Muslim. Pakistan just days away from defaulting on its debt. So that’s Siri Lanka on the list, now Pakistan, and others on their way to do the same. Dollar milkshake happening in front of our eyes. Only those into ₿itcoin have a chance to escape this fiat implosion (imv). I would like to say that “Bitcoin will fix this” and it definitely can be used as a tool to begin to repair the damage done by fiat and Ribaa, but even a great sword 🗡️ in the hands of an idiot won’t help him in battle. Hopefully we can use the tools available to take a “ground up” approach to fixing the world around us, using ₿itcoin, Nostr, an understanding of fair trade (via Islamic business & economics) and a will to make a difference.
