This is a great feature that has a lot of potential when building an online retail business. So here’s a flow: 1) Merchant makes a normal invoice for p&p and return p&p fee if product is not accepted or delivered, and sends that to the customer. 2) Customer pays that invoice and sends a return HODL invoice for the money paid for the p&p return once the delivery is accepted 3) Merchant pays that HODL invoice to return the fee for not returning the goods and then sends a HODL invoice for the purchase of the item. 4) Customer pays HODL invoice for the item and waits for delivery. 5) At this point we have: a) Product in transit b) HODL invoice to return p&p fee to customer once they accept c) HODL invoice for payment of product The only thing that was paid for was the p&p which is happening now as the product t is in transit 6) Upon delivery, the delivery guy gives a QR code that affirms that the item has been delivered, that will trigger the above HODL invoices, refunding the customer and paying the merchant, all in real time. Based on the above, there is zero risk of loss for either the merchant or customer. The customer only pays for the goods when they receive it and the merchant guarantees that his goods will return to him, paid by the customer, if something goes wrong with the delivery. It’s almost like an ‘atomic purchase’. The only one who actually ‘technically loses out’ would be the customer who paid for p&p and return, but that’s only fair. Why should the merchant pay for the customer backing out of the deal. This would also mitigate conflict about product not being delivered to the right person. Only the customer with the preimage can receive the goods and if someone were to intercept it, we would know it wasn’t delivered. So you get confirmation of correct delivery with delivery. https://voltage.cloud/blog/lightning-network-faq/understanding-hold-invoices-on-the-lightning-network/

Black Africa unite for what? Under what? As a Muslim, speaking on what I have learnt from Islam, this is a “Da’wah jaahiliyyah”. A call to pre-Islamic ignorance. Unity is upon common goals & righteousness, ie Islam. Not upon geography, tribe, & most definitely not skin colour But in a world run and managed by racist ideologies, it’s not a surprise that we see ‘counter calls’ for much of the same racism. Just bcoz those that oppress you see you as worthless scum just bcoz you look a certain way, are from a certain place or tribe, doesn’t mean you need to accept their corrupt ideas and just ‘re-project’ it to someone else. That’s what Malcom X realised when he went to Makkah and performed the hajj, seeing people from around the world, from all walks of life, tribes, colours, forms and shapes, all united under one banner, all worshipping Allaah as one. He realised that it was possible to unite under a real meaningful banner, a banner that is both fair and true. Nobody chose who they were born to, where they were born or how they looked, but they all chose chose Islam, chose righteousness and chose Tawheed. If you unite, you unite under that banner. Under the banner of a unified ideology, practice and belief. Not under arbitrary passports and meaningless geographical interests. Those interests only serve the powers of those who control those areas and locations, it doesn’t serve the greater good. So I unite with any Muslim, be he African, Asian, European or American, as long as they agree to act and behave in the best interests of mankind, as directed to us by Islam. Serving the people, upon fairness and justice, in an agreement to repel all forms of tyranny and injustice.

After reading this article, I gave the following comments: Islamic banking If they say your deposit is a “Deposit given for safe keeping” this is called in Islamic law a “wadee’ah”. This means they should not touch it. But if they do without permission, then they become 100% liable for its repayment as they are not supposed to touch it. But most importantly, if something grows from it, it belongs to the owner of the capital. That means taking the profits or some of it would amount to theft (islamically speaking) if occurred without explicit permission. If they use it with permission, then it’s mudhaarabah, ie venture capital investment and that means the depositor could lose their deposit and the bank wouldn’t be liable unless due to negligence. This needs to be made clear, which is why I’ve never agreed that any of these ‘Islamic banks’ are Islamic, as I’ve NEVER seen this risk communicated to depositors. I only see ‘guaranteed % gains’ and no ‘% gains of any profits OR LOSSES’. What was interesting about this article is that it talks about “All this does, is that instead of Bank A lending money to Bank B and asking for a slightly higher amount (i.e. an interest rate), Bank A will sell something (usually a metal, like copper) to Bank B at a slightly higher price than the current market price and Bank B will pay for this copper at a later date (depending on when the money is due).” But such a transaction would be Ribaa, ironically. How? Well as I explained in my Ribaa video, metals are ‘fungible’ items and therefore from the ‘ribaweeyaat’ (items that Ribaa occurs on) and therefore need immediate settlement if exchanged for different ‘types’ like copper for gold, and need to be equal amounts as well as immediate settlement if the same time like gold for gold. So muraabahah in the above mentioned form would still be Ribaa, but Ribaa al fadhl. So when the author states: “It’s not hard to see that this is practically the same thing as a loan with interest. “ I would go one step further and say that it is 100% Ribaa as described. The only way it wouldn’t be is if the item being sold is not fungible. But if it’s not fungible, then it wouldn’t be used as it would be a terrible medium of exchange (ie money). Imagine it was property in stead of copper, that means a surveyor would have to be employed with every transaction, evaluating the value of the home and its state, etc. ie the very reason it cannot be used as money. And if they ‘bundled’ a basket of non-fungible items and gave an overall value’ to the basket in order to ‘monetise’ it then there is definitely gharar involved, as the individual items in the basket 🧺 is not clear. An overall great article. Maybe something could be formulated using fedimint, but that would still require some regulatory alignment I would assume. I can’t imagine it would be easy to operate anything like this idea without bending the knee to a central bank or regulatory body. But I’m sure it’s possible somehow. @CaitlinLong_ managed to start something with a similar idea of a full reserve banking system. So we’ll see how this space progresses.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, The formula for success in this dunya and the Hereafter lies in a perfect blend of faith (iman) and righteous deeds (amal salih). Faith is the foundation, the root that nourishes the tree of actions. Without iman, deeds lack soul and purpose. With it, every act becomes a step towards salvation. Righteous actions are the fruits of this faith, impacting not only our earthly existence but echoing into eternity. They weigh heavy on the Mizan, assisting us during the pivotal moments of the Akhirah. Intercession (Shafa'ah) by our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم is another mercy, exclusively for the Ummah who held firm to faith and good deeds. His intercession can elevate our status and offer relief in moments of immense distress. Soorah Al-Asr encapsulates this divine formula succinctly: mankind is indeed in a state of loss, except for those who believe, perform righteous deeds, advise each other with truth and righteousness, and counsel each other to be patient. These are the four timeless principles to triumph over the perpetual loss ordained for mankind. #FaithAndDeeds #Iman #AmalSalih #Shafaah #SoorahAlAsr 🌱 May Allah strengthen our faith, accept our deeds, and make us eligible for the Prophet's intercession. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, The Day of Judgment will present two monumental trials: the Mizan and the Sirat. The Mizan, or Scale, symbolises divine justice, a precise weighing of our deeds, good and bad. On this day, actions the size of mountains will be evaluated, and everyone will receive a book detailing their life's deeds, with nothing omitted. The Sirat, a bridge thinner than a hair yet sharper than a sword, spans over the hellfire and leads to heaven. Crossing it successfully depends on the weight of your good deeds on the Mizan. The righteous will pass swiftly, like a bolt of lightning, while others may crawl, stumble or, may Allah protect us, fall into Jahannam below. Remember, every act, no matter how small, has implications for your journey over the Sirat. Your deeds will either illuminate your path or plunge you into darkness. Thus, let us strive to tip the scales in our favour and light our way across the perilous bridge. #DayOfJudgment #Mizan #Sirat #DivineJustice 🌌 May Allah grant us the ability to cross the Sirat with ease and enter Jannah. What's Really Moving the Bitcoin Price Needle? Everyone loves a good mystery, and Bitcoin's price movements are the Da Vinci Code of the financial world. From Halving cycles to the M2 money supply, theories abound. But what's really driving this roller coaster? Let's delve in. The Halving Hypothesis For over a decade, Bitcoin enthusiasts have sworn by the halving cycles. The theory is simple: cut the supply in half, and the price will shoot up as demand remains constant. It's like rationing chocolate and expecting people to pay more for it because it's scarce. This has been Bitcoin's story so far, but could it be just that— a story? The Alternatives: Don't Be a Zealot Bitcoin might be a big deal, but let's not treat it like it's descended from the heavens. There are alternative theories that question the sacred halving. After all, Litecoin and Ethereum have also tweaked their coin production rates, but their price movements tell a different story. The Almighty Dollar Here's a twist—what if Bitcoin's fate is tied to the U.S. dollar? The evidence is compelling. When the dollar strengthens, Bitcoin's price typically drops. If we're measuring Bitcoin in dollars, it makes sense, right? Think of it as weighing yourself while the Earth's gravity keeps changing. It's going to mess with your numbers. Money Printer Goes Brrr: The M2 Factor Another plotline is Bitcoin dancing to the tune of the M2 money supply. When governments and banks print more money, Bitcoin’s price tends to go up. It's as if Bitcoin is saying, "Oh, you have more money? I'm more expensive now." The Mood of the Markets Lastly, could Bitcoin just be riding the waves of market sentiment? When the financial climate is sunny, Bitcoin sunbathes. But when there's an economic storm, it’s back under the umbrella. So What's the Real Deal? Here’s a wild thought: what if all these factors are just different sides of the same dice? All these elements—halving, M2, the dollar, and market sentiment—are just part of the bigger "supply and demand" equation. The halving wouldn't even matter if nobody wanted Bitcoin in the first place. The Grand Equation So, let's summarise with a snazzy equation: Supply (Halving + M2) = Demand (1/DXY + Market Sentiment) The Final Word The unique thing about Bitcoin’s halving is its independence. While M2, the dollar, and market sentiment are all tangled up like a ball of wool, the halving cycle operates on its own. Skeptics abound, but isolating this variable is near impossible. Still, as time goes on and data piles up, we might just crack the code on Bitcoin's enigmatic price movements. Why can't all these factors contribute to the grand theatre of Bitcoin's price? After all, life is rarely about single causes and effects; it’s a messy, multi-variable equation.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, The concept of Jannah in Islam is beyond human imagination, a realm of perpetual bliss and unparalleled beauty. Rivers of milk, honey, wine, and pure water flow beneath gardens of eternal spring. Palaces of indescribable splendour await the righteous, adorned with jewels that make the treasures of this world pale in comparison. Jannah is not a one-size-fits-all paradise; it comprises various levels, each reflecting the piety and good deeds of its inhabitants. The higher the level, the closer one is to the Divine Presence of Allah. Imagine being neighbours with Prophets, Sahaabah, and righteous beings! As for the dwellers of Jannah, they are granted privileges beyond measure. Immortal youth, everlasting happiness, and the joy of gazing upon the face of Allah—the ultimate reward. In Jannah, every desire is fulfilled before it is even articulated, a place where the hardships of the dunya are forgotten, replaced by an eternity of joy. Contemplate these wonders as a motivation to strive for righteousness. May our final abode be Al-Firdaus, the highest level of Jannah, close to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). #HeavenInIslam #Jannah #EternalBliss 🌳 May Allah grant us all a place in Jannah. 🌙 In today's fast-paced world, let's pause and reflect on the timeless principle of Tawheed and its relevance amidst modern challenges. 🌐 1️⃣ Globalisation As the world becomes a global village, diverse beliefs and cultures intermingle. While this brings knowledge, it also poses challenges to the Muslim and their manifestation of Tawheed in their live. The omnipresence of various ideologies can sometimes dilute the pure understanding of the Oneness of Allah or lead one to compromise their Tawheed in their actions. Yet, it's also an opportunity: Tawheed can be the anchor, grounding Muslims amidst the global whirlwind. 2️⃣ Secularism The rise of secular thought seeks to separate religion from public life. While it claims to promote religious freedom, it often sidelines spiritual values. Tawheed reminds us that Allah's guidance is holistic, relevant for both personal spirituality and societal governance. 3️⃣ Modernity and Materialism The modern age, with its technological marvels, often emphasises material success. The race for worldly gains can overshadow our spiritual purpose. Tawheed, emphasising the transient nature of this world, can be the compass directing us towards eternal success. 🌟 Tawheed as a Healing Balm - Family: In an age where family structures are under strain, Tawheed reinforces the importance of kinship ties, reminding us of our duties to relatives through the recognition that Allaah is the ultimate authority, and source for all family disputes and differences.. - Mental Health: The rise in mental health issues in the modern age is alarming. Tawheed offers solace, reminding us of Allah's mercy, love, and the bigger picture beyond worldly struggles. Simply embodying the statement of Allaah: “Seek help with patience and Salaah, Verily Allaah is with those who are patience” Will have significant impact upon ones own mental state, given one tranquility and peace of mind. - Materialism: The sickness of materialism can be cured by understanding Tawheed, which teaches contentment, gratitude, and the pursuit of lasting, not fleeting, success in the hearafter. Through recognising that this world is a test, and that the only success isnt through the acquisition of wealth, but the attainment of Allaah’s pleasure. 🌹 Why This Matters Tawheed isn't just a theological concept; it's a way of life. In the maze of modern challenges, it's the guiding light, helping us prioritise, find balance, and stay connected to our Creator. May Allah grant us the clarity to see the beauty of Tawheed amidst the noise of modernity and use it as our shield and guide. Ameen. 🤲 #Tawheed #ModernChallenges #GuidingLight 🌙🕋 image

🌙 Let's embark on a journey of understanding: Tawheed in the context of the people of the book. 🌍 1️⃣ Tawheed in Islam At the heart of Islam lies Tawheed, the pure, unadulterated belief in the Oneness of Allah. It's not just about acknowledging His existence but understanding His unique attributes, free from human limitations, and His right that we worship none, but Him. Say (O Muhammad): "He is Allah, (the) One. "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks). "He begets not, nor was He begotten; "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him." 2️⃣ Depleted Monotheism in Judaism While Judaism firmly believes in the Oneness of God, there have been instances where attributes of creation are ascribed to Him, such as getting tired and resting, being stingy etc. Additionally, the elevation of rabbis has led to them making lawful what Allah made unlawful and vice versa, indirectly placing them above God in legislative matters. 3️⃣ Christianity's Trinity Christianity introduced the concept of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This diverges from pure monotheism, as Jesus (peace be upon him), a revered prophet and messenger of Allaah, is elevated to divinity. Islam's Tawheed emphasises that no being, regardless of their virtue, can be equated with Allah. How can Jesus be God when he has a God? Matt. 27:46, Mark 15:34, John 20:17, Rom. 15:6, 2 Cor. 1:3, 2 Cor. 11:31, Eph. 1:3, Eph 1:17, Heb. 1:9, 1 Pet. 1:3, Rev. 1:6, Rev. 3:2, Rev. 3:12 (This is not an endorsement of the independent validity of the Bible, this is just to demonstrate that Bible itself contradicts Trinitarian doctrine). 🌟 Interfaith Dialogue: Engaging in interfaith dialogue doesn't mean compromising our beliefs but understanding them in the context of others. Recognising these differences allows for more deeper understanding of the importance of Tawheed, and how to avoid falling into the same mistakes of the people who came before us. 🌹 Why This Matters: In a world teeming with diverse beliefs, understanding the nuances of Tawheed and its distinction from other monotheistic concepts fosters harmony. It allows us to articulate our faith clearly and appreciate the beliefs of others, all while holding firm to our convictions. May Allah grant us the wisdom to engage in meaningful dialogue, representing the beauty of Tawheed and the universality of Islam. Ameen. 🤲 #Tawheed #InterfaithDialogue #UnderstandingMonotheism 🌙🕋 image

🌙 Let's explore the relationship between Tawheed, the Oneness of Allah, and Fiqh, Islamic Jurisprudence. 📜 1️⃣ Tawheed as the Foundation: Every ruling in Islamic law stems from the principle of Tawheed. Recognising Allah as the sole legislator ensures that laws are made to serve His will and purpose. 2️⃣ Worship (Ibadah): Tawheed dictates that all acts of worship are directed solely to Allah. This shapes the rituals, timings, and intentions behind our prayers, fasting, zakat, and Hajj, ensuring they're free from innovation and shirk. 3️⃣ Communal Justice: The belief in the Oneness of Allah compels us to see the oneness in humanity. Islamic laws on inheritance, marriage, and societal rights are designed to ensure justice, equality, and fairness, reflecting Allah's attributes of being The Most Wise (Al-Hakeem) and Kind (Al-Ra'uf). 4️⃣ Ethics and Morality: Tawheed instills a sense of accountability. Knowing that Allah is All-Watching (Al-Baseer) and All-Knowing (Al-'Aleem) shapes our behaviour, leading to laws that promote honesty, trustworthiness, and good character. 🌟 Why Tawheed Matters in Fiqh: Tawheed isn't just a theological concept; it's the compass guiding Islamic jurisprudence. It ensures that laws aren't just rules but are rooted in divine wisdom, aiming for the betterment of humanity. When we understand Tawheed, we see Islamic laws not as restrictions but as pathways leading us closer to Allah. May Allah grant us the wisdom to appreciate the beauty of Tawheed and its profound impact on Islamic jurisprudence. As we navigate life's challenges, may we always find guidance in the principles of Tawheed and Fiqh. Ameen. 🤲 #Tawheed #Fiqh #IslamicLaw 🌙🕋 image

🌙 Let's journey through the chronicles of prophethood to witness the unbroken chain of Tawheed, the Oneness of Allah, that each Prophet called to. 🌟 🌊 Prophet Nuh (AS): "O my people! Worship Allah! You have No other god but Him. Will you not fear (Him)?" - Prophet Nuh was one of the earliest messengers, and his call was simple yet profound: Worship only Allah. This sets the stage for all Prophets to come. 🔥 Prophet Ibrahim (AS): Known as the "Father of Monotheism," his life was a testament to Tawheed. He rejected idol worship and called his people to the worship of the One true God, challenged the people around him, and established the line of prophets through his lineage, Ismaa’eel and Is.haaq. 🌹 Prophet Musa (AS): He delivered the message of Tawheed to Pharaoh and led the Children of Israel to the worship of Allah alone, emphasising the first commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before Me." 🌟 Prophet Isa (AS): Despite being misconstrued as divine by some, he himself clarified, "Worship Allah, my Lord, and your Lord." 🌙 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): "I testify that there is no god but Allah, and I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." - The final Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH), not only emphasised Tawheed but also lived it in every aspect of his life, providing a practical guide for us, fought battles due to it, and from his final words of advice before his death was to warn against Idolatry, forbidding taking his grave as a place of worship, a masjid. 🌟 Why is this Chain Important? This unbroken chain of Prophets calling to Tawheed serves as a powerful testament to its central role in our faith. It's not just a concept; it's the essence of all prophetic teachings. May Allah grant us the Tawfiq to understand and implement this in everything we do, to call others to this and to sacrifice everything for this cause. image

🌙 Let's delve into the wisdom of Hadith to understand Tawheed, the bedrock of our faith. 🌹 1️⃣ Tashahhud in Salah: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us the Tashahhud, which includes the testimony of faith: "I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger." 🤲 This Hadith emphasises the importance of Tawheed in our daily prayers and significant life events, reinforcing the Quranic teachings on the Oneness of Allah. We pray at least 5 days a day, and say the tashahhud 9 times at the minimum. With each unit of salaah, we testify to the oneness of Allaah and His right to be worshipped alone. 2️⃣ Isbagh Al-Wudhoo is Half of Faith: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Isbagh Al-Wudu, performing the wudhoo completely is half of faith; saying Alhamdu lillah fills the scales; the Tasbih and the Takbir fill the heavens and Earth." 🌊 -This Hadith shows that even the act of ablution is tied to our faith in the Oneness of Allah, as it prepares us for the worship of the One true God. Completing it with, again, a testimony of the monotheism that all the prophets came with and their primary message. 🌟 The Hadith not only complement the Quranic teachings on Tawheed but also offer practical guidance on how to live these teachings in our daily lives. From our prayers to our actions, Tawheed should be the guiding light. 🌟 May Allah grant us the wisdom to understand and live by the principles of Tawheed, leading us to eternal peace in the Hereafter. When trying to understand why fiat is not the same as Gold, Silver & even Bitcoin, you only have to look at what makes a person use it. Gold, silver & Bitcoin is a currency that people choose to use, and do not require force. Fiat, on the other hand, only exist due to force. Without the threat of government violence, fiat would return to its inherent value, which is zero. This is why “BTC/Zero” in the grand scheme of things. We see this in the many counties that make it illegal to transact in anything but their fiat, where they make it a criminal offence to use even gold to buy and sell. There is even someone in jail (I forgot his name) in one country because he tried to establish a normal street market using a ‘gold Deenaar’. Why are we complacent in accepting this reality? How can we be happy when we can’t even choose how to store our hard earned labour? #ChooseBitcoin #livingTheBitcoinStandard image

🌙Today, let's explore the cornerstone of our faith: Tawheed, as illuminated by the Noble Quran. 📖 1️⃣إِنَّ إِلَـٰهَكُمۡ لَوَ ٰحِد Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); As-Saaffat, Ayah 4 This verse is a resounding affirmation of Tawheed al-Rububiyyah, the Oneness of Allah in Lordship. He is the Sole Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of the cosmos. I am Allah! La ilaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) for My Remembrance. Ta-Ha, Ayah 14 This verse encapsulates Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah, emphasizing that Allah alone is worthy of our worship and devotion. 🤲 3️⃣ ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَاۤءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ Allah! La ilahla illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He)! To Him belong the Best Names. Ta-Ha, Ayah 8 This verse beautifully combines Tawheed al-Asma' wa al-Sifat, affirming the unique Names and Attributes of Allah. He is Ar-Rahman, Ar-Raheem. 🌹 🌟 **Why is Tawheed Important?** Tawheed isn't just a theological concept; it's the axis around which our lives revolve. It informs our actions, purifies our intentions, and elevates our status in both this world and the Hereafter. Neglecting Tawheed leads to a life devoid of divine guidance, a heart void of tranquility, and an afterlife absent of eternal bliss. ✨ May Allah guide us to uphold Tawheed in every aspect of our lives, making it the beacon that lights our path in this dunya and secures our place in Jannah. Let's delve into the heart of our Deen: Tawheed, the Oneness of Allah. This isn't just a word; it's the core of Islamic belief and what ALL the Prophets called to. 🕋 1️⃣ Tawheed al-Rububiyyah: Recognize Allah as the Sole Lord, the Sustainer and Creator of all. He alone sets the sun to rise and the rain to fall. ☀️🌧️ إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامࣲ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ یُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَۖ مَا مِن شَفِیعٍ إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ إِذۡنِهِۦۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ﴿ ٣ ﴾ “Surely, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then Istawa (rose over) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty), disposing the affair of all things. No intercessor (can plead with Him) except after His Leave. That is Allah, your Lord; so worship Him (Alone). Then, will you not remember?” Yunus, Ayah 3 2️⃣ Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah: Worship none but Allah. Your prayers, fasts, and good deeds should be solely for Him. He is the One deserving of all devotion. 🤲📿 لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَقَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ غَیۡرُهُۥۤ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ عَلَیۡكُمۡ عَذَابَ یَوۡمٍ عَظِیمࣲ﴿ ٥٩ ﴾ Indeed, We sent Noah to his people and he said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other god but Him. (La ilaha ill-Allah: none has the right to be worshipped but Allah). Certainly, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day!" Al-A'raf, Ayah 59 3️⃣ Tawheed al-Asma' wa al-Sifat: Allah's Names and Attributes are unique and incomparable. He is the Most Merciful, yet the Most Just; the Creator, yet unlike His creation. 🌹 Understanding these categories deepens our connection with Allah and fortifies our Eeman. It's not just about saying 'La ilaha illallah,' but living it in every facet of our lives. 🌟 هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَـٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ﴿ ٢٢ ﴾ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَیۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ﴿ ٢٣ ﴾ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقُ ٱلۡبَارِئُ ٱلۡمُصَوِّرُۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَاۤءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ یُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ﴿ ٢٤ ﴾ He is Allah, than Whom there is La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen (open). There is no success in this life, not with ‪#Bitcoin‬ or anything else without the success of the hereafter. There is no protection from inflation or anything else like the protection that comes from Allaah. And there is no greater & more challenging HODL than the HODL of the worship of Allaah. We often focus on the means, like stacking SATs, longer time preference living & trying to live the Bitcoin standard, but none of that matters if we’re displeasing Allaah! Stack the salaah before we stack SATs HODL obedience to Allaah before we HODL ‪#Bitcoin‬ And live the Islamic standard before we live the Bitcoin standard. If you think HODLing ‪#Bitcoin‬ during a bear market is hard, try HODLing Fajr in the masjid. Aaishah, the wife of the messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه و سلم said that he said “the Two units of sunnah before Fajr is better than the whole dunyaa and all that is in it” And the messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه و سلم said that “if you knew of the reward of praying in the masjid, you would attend it even if you had to crawl to get there.”

Not sure how true this is…but it could be the first step for KSA and UAE to depeg their currencies from dollar. If anyone wasn’t aware, both Saudi Riyaals and Emirati Dirhams are attached to the USD. But what does that mean? It means that they have a reserve of capital that they use to buy up dollars if their currency value goes up or sell dollars if their currency goes down, meaning it is artificially kept in a tight range. A lot of countries try to do this, and many fail catastrophically which leads to massive jumps (mostly down) in value. I’ve attached a chart of Saudi riyaal to dollar, and showing how the range is kept tight, and an example of Egyptian pound when they lose the peg. The point here is, if KSA and UAE join the BRICS, it most likely would purely be for trade purposes initially, but at some point the nations currency may move to this new currency. This would mean more independence from USA. I do feel the Middle East is attempting to increase its influence significantly in the next decade, and the idea of being the ‘new Europe’ may not be that far fetched. And the timing couldn’t be better, as Europe itself is in decline. Only time will tell. But for a Bitcoiner, this is also an opportunity… there is no doubt or question that the Middle East is far more safer to live in than any western nation, and for a Bitcoiner, safety is important. If you’re carrying around with you your seed phrase, you might want a place to live where your home, or wherever you save your seed is actually safe. Pretty much no violent crime etc. But also, competition in this space is less as the industry is more fresh and new there as opposed to being saturated in some areas in the west (not that there’s still no room for growth in the west, there is). And UAE is trying to position itself as being a ‘crypto hub’ for the region, which leads me to believe that KSA will, at some point, try to compete with that also at some point. Oman just recently opened another mining facility using liquid cooling (attached) and also Abu Dhabee also is launching a massive mining farm (cheap electricity). Something for bitcoiners to think about.
