Does anyone recommend a cashu app I can use on my iPhone? I tried to play with it and it seems like the payments invoices for cashu is the same as lightning ? Have I understood it properly? Meaning I can pay a lightning invoice with cashu and receive money in cashu from a lightning wallet?

This is a great conversation about Bitcoin. I was surprised that @ODELL said the same thing about Bitcoins price that I mentioned in my video a few weeks ago, but tbh, if you’re not generally cautious or negative about bitcoins price, it’s kinda obvious. Well I hope it plays out that way. From the discussions they had was about the super cycle, the US Bitcoin reserves, cashu (which I actually haven’t used yet, but will explore now they’ve raised the flag) and general adoption conversation, which is my favourite topic. Needless to say, any Muslim hearing this will realise why mankind is lost without the guidance from Allaah. Destroy billions of dollars of wealth by burning your Bitcoin keys is NOT an act of charity to the world, in fact it’s the usual “rich helping the rich get richer” Instead, if he REALLY wanted good for the world, he would give his wealth to the poor and needy who could benefit from that wealth. Orphans, widows, the elderly who don’t have family to support them, so many ppl they he could help, but no…instead burn the keys… So are you saying that burning the keys won’t be a way to increase the scarcity of Bitcoin and therefore push the price of Bitcoin up?! This will make everyone richer and benefit everyone!!” No. It will make those who already have Bitcoin (wealth) increase in their wealth. What about those who DONT have Bitcoin because they live paycheque to paycheque?! It’s a move that favours those who already HAVE money. The more they have the more it benefits them. This is not an act of benevolence, it’s a misguided act of benefiting the rich. ‫وَأَنفِقُوا۟ مِن مَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَیَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوۡلَاۤ أَخَّرۡتَنِیۤ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ قَرِیبࣲ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ﴿ ١٠ ﴾‬ And spend [in the way of Allāh] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be of the righteous. ‫وَلَن یُؤَخِّرَ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِذَا جَاۤءَ أَجَلُهَاۚ وَٱللَّهُ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ﴿ ١١ ﴾‬ But never will Allāh delay a soul when its time has come. I think we’ve been scammed. All this fear mongering over quantum computing seems to be due to individuals who wanted to pump their bags of quantum computing stocks. The threat isn’t anywhere serious as the FUD suggests

One reason why I believe Muslims need to take Bitcoin seriously is because it’s our exit from the Ribaa fiat flywheel, and that wheel is about to spin off its hinges. Thank God for guidance, for life and for that exit. ومن يتق الله يجعل له مخرجا و يرزقه من حيث لا يحتسب ومن يتوكل على الله فهو حسبه Whoever fears Allaah, He will make a way out for him, and provide for him in ways he does not expect, and whoever has trust in Allaah, then He will suffice him.

Every so often there is this wave of “oh an old Saudi religious ‘cleric’ deems Bitcoin halal!” And it never specifies who they are talking about lol 😂. Well, there are a few already that I’ve covered before. Here’s one.

What could go wrong?! lol 😂 It’s like these guys want to medicate themselves from the negative consequences of their own actions. How about live a more healthier lifestyle. •Want to sleep around and not get pregnant? Take the pill. •Don’t want AIDS? There medicine for that. •Want to build muscle 💪? There’s an injection or two for that, and X amount of protein powders. •Want to have fun? There’s pills for that. •Want to address your erectile disfunction due to watching too much porn? Yep, pills for that too •Want to lose weight?! Wait…there’s now pills for that. Is there anything they will not take pills for rather than address the root problems that cause the above? Note, Islam, just by being Muslim, avoids literally all of the above. No medication required.
