25% interest on personal loan… I was curious to see interest rates on some personal loans… this is ridiculous. They can literally print the very currency I’m borrowing yet they lend it out at 25% and that’s over 2 years! I’ll end up paying $7,400 back from a $5,000 loan. Insanity! Some people must get themselves into so much trouble with debt and credit cards. Actually wild. I can open a line of credit against my Bitcoin for 9.5% with Blockearner here in Australia , why would I do 25% just to avoid the collateral ?

I purchased a Coldcard Q as a gift for 381,478 sats from Coinkite. Curious to see its price in Sats when ATH makes a return. Cool idea to set aside some sats now ready for purchases in the future because it will hold more purchasing power. #btc #sats #coldcard

I aim to buy a car early November 2026 (unless the Iranian conflict is still brewing), looking at spending around $30k AUD. Since that’s about 8 months away I don’t want to put those car savings in Bitcoin since a new bottom could hit this year and I need the money. So I put $10k AUD in STRC and I’ll see how it goes for returns here in Australia since it’s closer to 10% annual returns. + I think there’s foreign income tax so we’ll see what sort of return it really is. I’ll keep ya posted if STRC is worth it for short term savings, gotta be better than a bank though surely ! #btc #STRC

30/03/2026 Diesel is $3.25/Litre here in Australia Victoria. Multiple fuel stations limiting fuel purchases as well as shortages. Feels like Covid 2.0, people filling up jerry cans of petrol and diesel in case things get worse. People buying staples like pasta, rice, canned food etc. Let’s see what happens next 12 months … will the Iran war be over anytime soon?

I’m starting to realise Nostr should not be a place where you spam BTC content … you looking at this post will most likely already own Bitcoin. So for now on I’ll limit Bitcoin content/sharing on here, but rather share more about myself outside of Bitcoin. I’ll still occasionally post Bitcoin content when I think it’s worth other Bitcoiners seeing / listening to. But otherwise I’ll make this a more personal account.
