I didn’t expect how hard it would be to step away from social media —
or how strongly it had a grip on me.
The impulse to grab my phone is still there, almost automatic.
Which made me realize how much it had shaped my attention and thinking.
At the same time, the benefits are clear:
more calm, better focus, less distraction.
And the constant urge to “just check quickly” has almost disappeared.
Instead, I have space again for the truly important things in my life.
Time to think clearly and make decisions consciously.
Not perfect — but far more mindful. 🧘♀️
