I wonder how long before there's an LLM appeal to authority - "surely Claude, ChatGPT, perplexity and Grok aren't ALL trying to gaslight me into believing {current thing}"
This essay is the only thing that made law school make sense.
The inconsistency of law drove me nuts - how arbitrary every decision was. It basically boiled down to "I don't like X so I'm not allowing it"
Coming from engineering, this was hell.
Until I read this essay. It explains that everything needs to be interpreted by a person, and people can only interpret according to their background/experience/values. And so multiple people can "see" the same situation and draw completely different conclusions.
So the most important decision you can make is choosing a jurisdiction+forum that's favorable toyou. A judge / jury pool that matches your values
MCP server to let you download, transcribe, and chat with fountain podcasts - still WIP and heavily vibe coded so if anythings broken it's claudes fault
Okay we have downloading, transcribing, and advertisement tagging and summaries working
Idk how useful summaries are they're kind of too high level
Maybe useful for the vector db to narrow down what episodes to query.
Idk wouldn't the vector db take care of that anyway?
This is kind of a combo if two goals:
- Process podcasts so I never hear an ad again
- turn entire series into vector db for RAG
Like "chat with all of RHR"
