Really enjoyed this conversation. Love the vision. Lots of thoughts and questions. Do you have the images of the cathedral? Would love to visualise it. Thanks

These soft shokupan rolls fresh out the oven are seriously good. 👌🏼
Tonight wellington was even better. Took it out a bit earlier and the middle was wonderful 👌🏼

Served with truffled cauliflower and bordaliase sauce 😋👌🏼

Shokupan with whipped miso butter and hot honey. Fresh out the oven for the first course

I am too deep in the btctc play. Sure most is in my pension but also in my wife’s isa and kids accounts. Too much man. Staying humble is a mother fucker 🙈😆
What a great refreshing podcast.
Well done @walker that was some much needed perspective. 🫡👌🏼

Just six spots left for our December Feast
We’re nearly full for what promises to be a spectacular end-of-year menu, complete with a proper centrepiece—venison Wellington with truffled cauliflower and all the festive trimmings.
Sadly, no bonus November date (turns out I should check the family diary before announcing extra evenings). But onwards and upwards...
We’ve now opened bookings for 2026, starting with a February feast on the 6th and 7th. Yes, it sounds far away, but the good ones always book fast. No menu yet—I like to let the ingredients and inspiration lead—but I am hoping for a Japanese hibachi grill for Christmas (if you’re reading this, Jess). Expect smoky, aromatic skewers, grilled moments before they land on your plate.
If you fancy joining us in Nailsworth, head to the website to book. Come hungry.

Loved the @Bury St Edmunds Bitcoin event. Such good vibes.
Always also a real privilege to give an address to the audience. Hopefully it hit the tone. I don’t have a recording so might do one and post later this week.
Great to meet lots of cool people and catch up with my “internet” friends. Also good to know they are actually real people 😆

Beef from a retired dairy cow that finished its last few years eating the finest grass on the National Trust common by my house, dry ageing with Himalayan salt for a month ready for my feast on the 12th of September! If you like the look at this then book and come!

Bitcoiners. John is a UK economist who regularly engages with the bitcoin community (He took a beating on an X spaces yesterday
).
He is not a Bitcoiner as he believes that money needs to be elastic to function (classic!)
Anyway, I encouraged him to open a lightning wallet and to see if Bitcoiners would send him some sats so he then has skin in the game.
I don't think that bitcoin needs John to get bitcoin for it to succeed but I do think it might happen faster if he does get on board.
Send him some sats and lets see if we can make another Bitcoiner who might just join our team and write and speak more favourably.
Also consider that he doesn't earn big bucks and this might be the first time random people have sent him money. Skin in the game is a powerful thing.

Pork chop with n’duja butter
Rather delicious actually.
Basically pork basted in more spicy pork and butter 😝

Do you think there would be an appetite to have a Bitcoin conference that was mostly the bits other than the conference? i.e. a couple of inspirational talks, but then lots of chatting, drinking, eating and possibly a party to finish.
Having been to a few conferences, the best bits are a couple of talks, but then just meeting all the other bitcoiners and having a laugh, sharing ideas, etc. If this included some delicious food, a bar and a band/DJ. would you come? Just thinking.
