I am in need of a new mattress. Am planning to spend on a luxurious model so I feel rejuvenated every morning when I wake up…amortize the cost and benefit over the next 8 years, and this purchase is worth some bitcoin. But I don’t want to get it wrong.
We have a memory foam firm (high quality) mattress now. I never liked it.
I like softer mattresses, my wife likes more firm. Open to both or the models that can split. California King or King.

Everything bitcoiners want to happen within the Trump administration, needs to happen in the first 2 years.
This is the moment where “the state” can help bitcoin and align itself with freedom tech and culture.
If it doesn’t happen within Trump’s 2-year mandate, we’re gonna be fighting the state for years to come.

Re: timing of medium of exchange theory … bitcoin will become used for medium of exchange once the risk free rate of fiat is aligned with the annual appreciation rate of bitcoin.
Fiat can dramatically raise interest rates or hyperbitcoinization occurs. Between now and then, folks are just going to hodl.
The replacement theory is only good if the customer / merchant experience is good enough to justify. Population density and the types goods & services matter. That’s harder to achieve critical mass.

Bitcoin existence doesn’t require the end of fiat credit. It just makes the current paradigm prohibitively expensive by setting the risk free rate at 50%+ …
Fiat can coexist with bitcoin. To be competitive during the foreseeable future, 5-year US treasuries should be priced ~50% yield.
