Our program for mothers in Kenya starts everyone on the 'matatu' (our local bus)—an easy, shared Lightning wallet for daily spending. But the matatu isn't the destination. The goal is for every mother to hold the keys to her own 'car'—true self-custody. This isn't just a theory. This is Gladys. She's a mother from our first cohort. Thanks to a grant, she's taking driving lessons. She is literally learning to drive her own car, turning the metaphor into reality. From a passenger on a shared system to the driver of her own future. That's the journey to sovereignty.

Some things are worth the journey. We're heading to the #OsloFF in June to be in a room full of people who refuse to ask for permission. We believe in building real-world solutions for financial freedom with #Bitcoin, and we can't wait to connect with others who share that passion. Who's going to be there?

The mission expands. This Sunday, we officially launch our program in Karachi, Pakistan, in partnership with the incredible team from Bitcoin Living (bitcoinliving.org). A huge welcome to our coach on the ground, Mary, who will be guiding 10 new mothers on their journey to empowerment. This is the first seed planted for what we hope will one day become a thriving circular economy in Karachi. But today, it starts with these women.
