@Ziya's post on X about the Iranian uprising:
Let me explain what's happening with information sources coming out of Iran.
There's a complete internet and communications shutdown in Iran. People are effectively held hostage in their own country. The only information getting out comes from the few people with Starlink terminals (why aren't there more? They're extremely illegal and dangerous to possess—the regime views them as a spy-level threat).
Those with Starlinks can't be everywhere to record and send videos, and even when they try, uploads are often impossible due to intense radio signal jamming by the regime in Tehran and other major cities to block that limited flow.
It's literally Hollywood-level stuff.
The Iranian regime has definitely killed more people last night and will continue to do so. I encourage you all to follow information only from trusted sources, as there's lots of disinformation spread by the regime's cyber media and accounts to hide what's going on in Iran.
