The part in The Greatest Showman where Zendaya looks up at Zach Efron and says “this is me” just made me cringe out of my skin. So many scenes in this otherwise great movie are so off putting and raunchy.

Muted my phone notifications at an app level and my life has been so peaceful for the last 2 days. I engage only when I want to. Nothing is nearly as important as the notification would make you feel.

When I started The Bitcoin Standard I didn’t expect to learn so much about money and its history. What an excellent book. Never been orange pilled harder. Fiat currency is worth less by the second, but a great mode of exchange as long as you’re spending it quickly.

Have been developing more applications than website lately and it’s such a refreshing change of pace. I have loved using Rust more than any language and I’m so happy I’m not building apis and interfaces 😂

First time taking a low dose of adderal in a long time and I forgot how tired and relaxed this stuff makes me. Everything is so naturally enjoyable and I don’t need excessive stimulus to relax. What a trip.

Racism doesn’t come from online propaganda or indoctrination. It comes as a result of being around non-whites. I grew up in rural America and left my father’s home as a liberal, one race human race, hippy. It was when I moved into the city I realized it wasn’t people who looked like me who were ruining society. It wasn’t people who looked like me making me feel unsafe (rightfully so). I have no ought or ill-will toward other races, I just don’t want to be around them.

Swallowed my pride today. Haven’t made the money I wanted in software and will be going back to finance.
