I wonder how much web3 hate comes from web2 incumbents, because a lot of work is being done on storing identity, value and relations outside of the traditional silos.

Shout out to Bill Hicks who died on this day 30 fucking years ago already! Still as relevant as ever.
Check him out if you've never heard of him. #BillHicks
I really do not understand how people can code on a smallish (<17 inch) laptop screen... I absolutely hate it.
(Also, isn't it time to start denoting laptop screens in centimeters?)
A good litmus test of where we stand with the internet and web development is whether one needs to have a specific browser at the ready to access important websites.

A couple of moments ago, I finished reading the article by Rob O'Leary about the pervasive data collection done by Visual Studio Code. Now that I'm...
Given how well editing posts works on Mastodon I don't understand why more social media platforms do not support it.
Test post from MulTiPos to Bluesky, Mastodon, Nostr, Warpcast and Twitter.

Ooooh, Lemmy has SystemD discussions!
2023 and the APIs (if they have any) of major Dutch banks still suuuck!
There's really no comparison between the functionality I'm getting from crypto exchanges or the blockchain directly and traditional banks.
They deserve everything they get.
Look guys, if we wrap up this climate crisis and fix our planet we'll get welcomed into the galactic community as proper adults.
There will be beer from Zardoz and six-titted hookers.
Let's go!
