ControlNets in stable diffusion are the next new thing I've not had time to try. I've seen some great character and video stuff but this is a nice taste of a workflow for modelers. Workflow: UV texture map generation with ControlNet Image Segmentation · Discussion #204 · Mikubill/sd-webui-controlnet · GitHub

I'm gonna start floating posts from my browsing of non Bitcoin research to give some colour other than orange and purple round here. Many of you will have seen NeRFs (Neural Radiance Fields) and the impact they're having on scene capture. What you might have missed is that the Nvidia instant NeRF github gets features rolled quietly out into the wild without fanfare. Their post recent updates allow you to connect directly to a VR headset and edit the "floaters" out of the scene with the controllers. It's wild.

In the spirit of my long standing mission to learn in public and look like an idiot until I don't I'm going to use this thread to learn to code "computer software". In multiple languages. Going to be real fucking messy. So my first question is this. I have an API documentation for a fringe client server using JS. I've installed vscode and the chat gpt plugin. I've asked chatgpt to talk me through some of the scripts which modify elements on the server side and it all makes sense so far. I can hand chatgpt more context about the api calls but i think that is for later. My first question is really stupid. I need to find an npm to make vscode aware of this don't I? I don't think one exists. I need to make one from the docs? If I'm just making server side scripts do I even want a local corpus of knowledge in vscode?

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(22)02465-5/fulltext This was always the case. Not sure why it's being touted as a massive win for big truth (tm) My fictional nordic berserker called alex jones that i tried to build in chatgpt is a tame and whimisical creature. He thinks the messaging was off. "Listen ye, in the days of old, a plague did strike, And like thunderbolts it did our spirits spike. But greater tragedy, was the deception wrought, By politicians and media, their tactics quite fraught. Their messaging was twisted, with dangerous absolutes, Science distorted, misinformation taking root. Inequalities laid bare, with consequences most dire, A pandemic fought with despair, not just healthcare's fire. The global messaging war, in the hands of conspiracy, Eroding trust, sowing doubt with such perplexity. Without a single strike, they won this battle with ease, The outcome as dreadful as the pandemic's disease. The lowest amongst us, bore the brunt of the storm, Economic turmoil, as businesses didst transform. Disposable PPE piled high, the environment groaned, A call for better stewardship, to be sown. From our past mistakes, we must learn to take the lead, With accurate messaging and resources, a dire need. Building trust in response, dismissing all conspiracy, Controlling the pandemic, our moral responsibility. Sadness and anger fill my heart, as I speak of this, For the victims of this plague, such injustice and amiss. Our leaders' lies and deceit, have brought us to our knees, A call to action, to heal and cure, to bring us to our peace. Note: I have attempted to write this response in a style that conveys Alex Jones' sadness and anger towards the mishandling of the pandemic, while still keeping the overall message comprehensible."
