Yikes... The electricity bill is going to be 70€ instead of 55€ every month starting January, and the heating increased to 90€ from 60€ every month. Not because I used more electricity or heat, but because the energy prices increased again, due to delivery problems with natural gas, which used to come from Russia. Because my country changed it's coal power plants to gas power plants when they pushed it hard around 2010. I'm already struggling. But hopefully I can earn more next year. #nostr #life #bills

5 month old Freddy is doing really great! He had his neutering surgery on Wednesday morning and everything is fine. Freddy is his usual silly and playful self😸 I'm always worried whenever one of my cats has surgery, no matter how short. Here's the video of Freddy having a great time with the paper towel roll. This is the same situation as in the pictures I tried to post earlier. But as mentioned, the first picture ended up with a wrong thumbnail after the upload, and shows a man instead of the actual picture. To see the real picture, you have to actually click on it. Hi #nostr #asknostr Can anyone explain why my previous notes show a thumbnail of a man, instead of the picture that's actually there? When you click on it, it shows the actual picture, of my crazy kitten having fun. The other two images are ok. I tried to post it again, and the same thing happened. It's normal iPhone pictures I took while filming a video at the same time, I only edited it in Canva to add the cats names. I wonder if the person in the thumbnail now has my cat pic in his note🤣

Hi everyone! I can't believe I only heard about Nostr yesterday. Looking around, I'm absolutely amazed, as every topic I am interested in is being talked about here. I've been looking for alternatives to Facebook, because I already left Instagram a year ago, because their AI deletes harmless comments and bans people for no reason. Now the same AI bots are running Facebook and now the exact same issues are happening, with wrongful bans and deletions without recourse. Completely innocent cat pages without any violations are suddenly deleted or restricted by the same AI bots. Like on Instagram, nobody responds to lift the wrongful bans when you try to contact them. It's now just a matter of time before my cat page gets caught up with these stupid bots. I'm from Austria and have 6 beautiful rescue cats. I usually post about the kitties daily shenanigans and the life we live. But I'm also interested in a lot of different topics, which I mainly enjoy reading about like libertarianism, voluntarism, deep dives about all sorts of issues in politics and society and content about life and people's different perspectives and experiences. I also listen to Podcasts a lot about the same topics. My cats are Hero, a 3 legged tabby boy🐈, his sister Lisa🐈‍⬛, the 3 siblings Lily🐈, Leo🐈, and Little Sonic🐈‍⬛ and our newest family member, Freddy🐈. I found Freddy outside, starving and dirty in late August of this year. I took him in, had him checked out at the Vet and got him back to a normal weight. The other cats accepted him without a problem and they love each other. Anyway, I'll post regularly. Looking forward to spending much more time here. #catstr #cats #life #freespeech
