Still in its earliest stage before any pitch deck or business model, yet already showing rare clarity and purpose. This is what real grassroots innovation looks like.

One year ago today we introduced Nostr to 100 children in the hill tribes that have never interacted with money before. Bitcoin Lightning was their very first interaction.

Bringing Bitcoin into the public has been a major win for exposure and awareness in our region.

Bitcoin has empowered us for over 3 years to directly uplift marginalized communities near the Burmese border in Northern Thailand by building bathrooms, kitchens, WiFi access, water wells, dormitories, funding scholarships, teaching English and delivering real basic infrastructure that improves lives.

I did not know where the road would lead eight years ago, only that something about Bitcoin felt honest and different.

Showing up in person carries a weight that donations or social media posts never match. When people travel to marginalized communities, they bring human presence, dignity, and genuine connection. It signals that these communities are worth time, effort, and shared experience. Direct engagement builds trust, accelerates real change, and inspires the next generation far more than distant support ever can, especially when you bring the race to them and turn their community into the starting point of their own rising future.
