Blocksize of 1MB is the ultimate scarcity, same as 21M Bitcoin. Why did we inflate it to 4MB? It's QE, blocksize printing and fiat thinking!

SegWit is a soft fork in name only. In practice, it introduces a new consensus-critical data path that old nodes cannot validate, permits block sizes that old nodes would reject if they saw them, and redefines what a valid spend requires without requiring every node to enforce the new rule.
