It’s immediately clear that Putin is slow-walking the US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. He has no intention of accepting the proposal, but Putin needs to avoid saying “no” directly to Trump.
And he needs only a few days to invent a provocation that makes the proposal unacceptable.
Well, this is interesting. Curious whether he can stand reelection as a #forward candidate.
