I'm planning to learn how to draw at age 42. Main reason is, I want to instill this skill on my daughter so she learns how to observe the world in detail as early as possible and hopefully be able to entertain herself with a low time preference/long attention span activity early on as well. I subscribed to a Udemy course and got myself all the equipment (pencils, paper, rubbers, artist tape, compass, ruler). Why is Damus SO MUCH faster than Primal? With Primal I very often click into a note to see the replies, but then only see a loading animation. I switch to Damus, click into the same note and the replies are visible immediately.
