Good morning, nostr fam ☀️ I’ve got 4 copies left of @NOICE ISSUE N.001, and I’m trying to get them out the door today. To sweeten it, I’m throwing in a free copy of my latest photo-zine, Taste of Absurdities Vol. 1. 27k sats, free shipping in the US. Would love to see these go to people who’ll actually enjoy them - clearing a bit of space and sharing some of my favorite work. #Zap the note or drop me a DM/comment if you want one. Thanks, truly 🙏🏼 #photography #artstr #noicemag image

Too many people in photography obsess over gear and settings. None of that really matters. It’s about getting comfortable with yourself and learning to see what most people walk right past. The real job of a photographer is to make boring shit look beautiful.

Currently on a road trip for a few days, but I made a quick stop at my aunt’s place in Georgia. GPS took me through some back roads which I never mind. As a photographer, I’m always drawn to those run-down, offbeat spots that most people might overlook. There’s a certain beauty in decay, in places that feel a little forgotten or rough around the edges. Here are a few shots from the trip so far. I’ll share more as I go. The bollards one is funny, heh. Shot on my Leica M262, edited in Lightroom + Dehancer Film Pro. Curious to hear which of the truck photos you like best and why. #photography #leica

This whole Core / Knots thing feels a bit overblown. If anything, it’s been net positive. Theres more people running nodes now. Any bit to become more sovereign is good for the individual and for #bitcoin.

Morning nostr fam. I’m curious, does anyone else have these on/in their ear? I’ve never quite understood what they were. It’s the small hole there. It’s on both sides, and my grandmother had them as well. #asknostr image

As I was cleaning out some of my drawers today I came across some old flash drives with some photos on them that go back to around 2010-2015. Forgot about a lot of this stuff on there. Here's a few photographs that I thought were interesting from my early days shooting medium format, and from when I used to skate a lot (one is Tony Hawk). The kid on the guard rail is Niagara Falls. #photography

I barely caught sight of the copperhead that crossed my path today during my walk. Nearly stepped right on it, actually - one of those split-second moments where you look away for just a second. It wasn't a complete surprise, though. I've encountered them out here before, usually much larger. This one was just a baby, really. Copperheads are lukily not generally aggressive creatures, despite their fearsome reputation. I typically spot them stretched across the concrete, taking advantage of the cooler surface to regulate their body temperature. Be careful out there. Look down when you walk in the woods.
