Imagine a world in which you can rent cars over Nostr because your npub carries enough reputation, the car has multiple GPS trackers welded in, sensors for angle grinders, and private, distributed law enforcement that respond anywhere to theft so you don't need *that much* reputation to rent a car. Your license plate today is a digital fingerprint and makes it pretty easy to track you around densely populated areas. The average car is driven only 300 hours per year. Far more privacy if you are constantly switching vehicles, and the high uptime would make it harder for the irrational pushes toward full EV since the markets would become more competitive for operational efficiency, which includes longevity.
