Its also asking the wrong question, because when they say "its too ideological" not because they themselves aren't too ideological, it's because they want to hang out with their own kind, people with whom they feel like they fit-in. Do we really want a bunch of furries in your notifications calling us some array of "-ists"? If our objective is to deliver censorable free speech tech to people we fundamentally disagree with and have no interest interacting with, then sell its ability to segment communities by ideology. This is the power of independent relays: You can have a private relay for your church board elders, one for your military-industrial-complex day-job, one for your after-hours S&M cage dancing job, one for your exclusively-finnish speaking rebreather aficionados, and yet another for your watershed district board political campaign - all with separate identities that do not cross-contaminate. The same applies to entire "nations" that cross borders, such as the growing census category of professional-protester roblox gamers. (Colossians 4:5, KJV) * "Redeeming" comes from a Greek word meaning to buy back or pay a ransom to preserve what’s important; so, seize the opportunity before it slips away. * "The time" refers to the present decisive moment, not just clock time; as in, this is your chance. * "The days are evil" points to the constant corruption and hostility of this age that will drain or steal your valuable moments if you aren’t on guard. In Ephesians 5:15-16, the focus is broad: use your time wisely for the greater good and your mission as an ambassador for Christ. Guard your moments with prayer and intention so they aren’t swallowed up by the evil always pressing in. In Colossians 4:5, the focus narrows: use wisdom with outsiders. Share the truth when the opportunity comes, but don’t let endless debate or fruitless conversations eat up your day. If people treat the gospel like sport instead of moving toward truth, it lines up with what Jesus said about shaking the dust off your feet or not casting pearls before swine. The point isn’t impatience, but stewardship; making sure your limited time is used where it can actually bear fruit.
