I'm thinking about this and wondering if bitcoiners are doing the same thing to the free market.
We essentially say "start using this money because fiat is gay". Why not focus on what the advantages are such as LN speed/sovereignty, 24/7 instant global settlement. No monthly account fees. No or low transaction fees compared to fiat. Instant and simple fiat bridges, including billpay options.
Tell the story of the advantages instead of why you should use it because everything else sucks.

The only way to make money is to not need it.
The more money you need, the less people will give you.
The less you need money, people will fall all over themselves to give some to you.
For example, the government can print its own money, yet people spend all their time trying to think of new reasons for the government to force people to give it more money.

I remember back in the early 1980s the fountains all still flowed in the capitol malls. Then sometime around when they blew up the teacher in the space shuttle, they stopped opening them up in the spring. By the mid 90s, every fountain was cracked, dirty, dry and the statues vandalized and spray painted with gang signes.
Then, by the 2010s, government karens thought it better to replace fountains with skateparks and paying for graffiti on abandoned buildings of businesses they drove away. This was intentionally counterculture, as if hating America and anything beautiful should be government policy. Crime, drugs and loitering became the standard. They created a "panhandling permit" scheme, as if to separate the fake panhandlers from the real panhandlers. Eventually homeless tents and stolen shopping carts were desired to block walkways in every park.
