Went full #nixos on my day-to-day. I was braced for a hard adjustment, yet it was the easiest and cleanest Linux install I've ever done. Machine (ASUS Zenbook) is working like a dream, touchscreen, gestures, ports sound, everything. Snappy af. Now whenever I need a new machine I can just pull my config from a repo and restore, fetching all the apps I use. Theres no going back to Debian/Arch. Reproducible, declarative system builds for the win! image

OpenSats' role is to identify and support popular FLOSS Bitcoin and Nostr projects that need resources to improve, not to impose a personal, ideological, or strategic agenda on the direction of Bitcoin or Nostr. The moment it starts doing that, it becomes a central point of failure, and one that SHOULD be challenged. View quoted note →

This is the opposite. It's a display of integrity that Will cannot be bought. There is PLENTY wrong with OpenSats that should be challenged. The idea that applicants should simply be grateful and never question it is itself corrupt. Having spent the last week surrounded by high-signal Bitcoin/Nostr people, the skepticism towards Opensats is widespread, regardless of how "grateful" Opensats feels everyone should be. Reform is needed or else wider community will see it as a net negative rather than positive. View quoted note →

From a cost/reward perspective, replacing CEOs, VPs, VCs, and highly paid managers with AI arguably makes the most sense. They're low-output/compute roles, usually done poorly and at eye-watering expense.
