My solution for the NIP-17 DMs IX issue : - if a user doesn't have DM relays set, semd the DM to their regular relays. The sender doesn't lose privacy since it's gift wrapped. Receiver leaks to the people that he receoved a message not what and not from whom, but atleast he gets the message. The assumption: Privacy conscious receivers already have DM relays set.
