I love AI. Yes, it's mostly slop. But when you get it do things for you , not for the purpose of putting it out to the world, so you don't really care about the end quality, and it just keeps building things to make life easier for you it is absolutely mind bog-lingly awesome.

I used to have a very close friend who moved away to a different country a few years ago, we talk every few months, I used to be so excited for his calls, but now it's more of a chore. He's become very FIAT. Not necessarily in his economic choices, and we never talk about economics, but in his manner, his outlook towards the world, his tastes, there's nothing I could do or say that can change that, so we just talk about random stuff for a while and hang up. It's sad what the world does to you, I'm glad to be on the side of hope.
