I'm trying to wrap my head around the current nasty reply spam problem: User becomes target > they & others mute & report attacker > new users join > targeted npub welcomes new users > attacker responds to targeted npub's welcome notes > new users see the attack replies > established users do not. The only immediate stopgap I see, is for targeted users to _not_ welcome new people.
