My neighbor-friend messaged me tonight saying that she is backlogged 14 gallons of milk from their cow, who is still producing 4 gal/day, so I guess I'll be making a bunch of cheese and butter over the next few days. I think I'm going to try making gouda and manchego.

Last harvest is always fun. I have quit caring weeks ago. The plants have mostly died back or froze. Clearing out the last round, I find all sorts of weird stuff, like this tiny pumpkin or this deformed attempt at a twin jalapeno and sometimes even a comically large cucumber. It weigh 2.4lbs. 1 rosemary remains that I need to decide if I'm chopping down or transplanting to a pot. Otherwise, I am finished!
