This shower looks more like a tiled cave than a bathroom. It is inside the Yen House, also known as the Lotus House, in La Jolla, California. Designed by organic architect Kendrick Bangs Kellogg, the narrow space is wrapped almost entirely in mosaic tile, with the walls, ceiling, floor and built-in bench flowing into one continuous form. A petri dish swabbed from a mask after less than half an hour reveals a dense colony of multiplying bacteria. Trapped moisture, restricted airflow, and prolonged wear creates the perfect incubator against your face. Masks were mandated as a public health measure in spite of the fact that, as stated by the manufacturers, they don't provide virus protection. Constant facial covering posed its own risks, such as reduced oxygen intake, discomfort, and bacterial buildup. This was especially the case for vulnerable groups like children and the elderly. What if, instead of protecting ourselves, we were just breeding something else entirely? 04.08.26 image

China’ Long March 10B Rocket Closes Gap with US on Space Launch Capabilities China has successfully launched and recovered the first stage booster of its Long March 10B rocket system marking only the second country to do so following US-based SpaceX and Blue Origin; The success will likely be followed by additional tests proving reusability before production and launch cadence is expanded closing the gap with the US which currently launches more payloads to orbit than China and Russia combined; The ability to reuse rockets allows for vastly greater numbers of launches, the rapid deployment of large satellite constellations, as well as advantages in anti-satellite operations - both in deploying systems to use against enemy satellites and replacing satellites the enemy has neutralized; The New Atlas 03.08.26 #newatlas #china
Uruguay is the new Europe for second residency. - Spain ended its golden visa in April 2025 - Portugal killed the real estate route to residency in 2023 - Greece raised its golden visa to €800,000 in high-demand areas - Ireland shut down its investor program in 2023, the UK in 2022 - Malta's citizenship by investment program was struck down by the EU court Every year the price goes up and more doors close. South America now has the opportunity Europe used to have. Uruguay asks for no investment at all. No property purchase, no fund subscription, no six figure anything. You apply once, and what you get is permanent residency from day one. Not a temporary permit you renew every year and hope gets extended. You also don't have to move there. You fly to Montevideo, file your application in one day, get a temporary ID on the spot, and then you can leave the country. Six to twelve months later, your permanent residency comes through approved. To keep it, you enter Uruguay once every three years. And Uruguay is the country you actually want as your backup. Ranked as the safest country in Latin America. 400 miles of Atlantic coastline. Uninterrupted democracy since 1985. Citizenship is available if you do move to Uruguay. Eligibility comes after 5 years of living in Uruguay for over 6 months per year. If you're living there with family, the clock goes from 5 years to just 3 years. Not to mention taxes. Europe takes 50%. Move to Uruguay and your foreign income is officially taxed at 0% for the first 11 years, with easy options to stay at 0% afterward. Send me a DM and I'll answer any questions you have and get you started on residency. 03.08.26 #uruguay
This ceiling was designed as a vision of the universe above a king’s throne. Completed in 1427, the gilded wooden dome crowns the Hall of Ambassadors at Seville’s Real Alcázar. Its intricate Mudéjar geometry reflects the meeting of Islamic craftsmanship and Christian royal architecture. Architecture Hub 03.08.26 #architecturehub image
people who stored their btc on coldcard got drained because of entropy. the seed generation was reproducible, anyone could recompute their keys. so i went through every other hardware wallet to see how they make your seed, and whether the same thing can happen again. @Trezor: mixes the device's randomness with randomness from your computer, and the device has to prove it used both. even if its chip is fully broken, you're still fine. the best design here by far. @BitBoxSwiss: 5 separate sources of randomness combined. one bad source can't sink you. open source, reproducible builds, dice supported. @FoundationHQ: built their own randomness circuit out of plain resistors and capacitors, open source, on top of two other sources. no black-box chip to trust. supports dice. @KeystoneWallet: 2 secure chips from 2 different manufacturers, combined. also lets you roll 99 dice and publishes how to check the result yourself. @Blockstream: jade pulls from 7 things: radio noise, cpu counters, battery, temperature, camera, your input, the app. very hard to break all of them. @SeedSigner: your dice are the only source. no chip to trust at all. and they ship a guide teaching you to verify their own math. weakest hardware, strongest proof. @OneKey: secure element plus mcu combined on device, open source firmware. solid, but you can't add your own randomness. @Ledger: one certified chip (AIS-31, EAL5+). good randomness. but it's a single source, closed source, and you cannot verify any of it. you're trusting them completely. @Tangem: key is born inside the chip and never comes out. audited by three firms. same trade: strong, and impossible for you to check by design. @ngrave_official: mixes chip randomness with your fingerprint and room light. clever. but the "EAL7" badge covers one software component, not the whole device. @ELLIPAL: single certified chip, no software fallback, fails closed instead of guessing. closed source, so take it on faith. @SafePal: 2 chips mixed. they've never published the details. @COLDCARDwallet: patched now, and dice on coldcard were always verifiable. but every seed made between 2021 and 2026 is permanently burned. one source = ledger, tangem, ellipal. that one source fails, everything fails. their answer is to make it excellent and certified. that's exactly the bet coldcard lost. many sources = trezor, bitbox, passport, jade, keystone. one broken source never reaches your key. and every one of these claims 128 or 256 bits. coldcard did too. certification doesn't help either, coldcard's chip was fine, the code just stopped calling it. the only thing that saves you is being able to check. roll your own dice. verify the words yourself. THE SUN IS THE CAUSE OF CLIMATE CHANGE - Everything else is weather! The Earth does not orbit around the centre of the Sun, so the Earth-Sun distance is variable. This is what determines climate change, not CO2. Professor Valentina Zharkova: Robin Monotti 02.08.26 #climatescam

White House: True origins of covid Yesterday, the White House published a statement on the true origins of covid. Based on information from the House Oversight Committee website, a Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability in the US House of Representatives. The first point the statement makes is that “the virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature.” It goes on to note that, contrary to previous pandemics, data shows that all covid cases stem from a single introduction to humans. “By nearly all measures of science, if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced. But it hasn’t.” “Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research lab, which has a history of gain-of-function research (gene altering and organism supercharging) at inadequate biosafety levels,” the White House says. “Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) were sick with COVID-like symptoms in the fall [autumn] of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market.” The statement goes on to briefly describe some salient points about the covid pandemic, the response to it and the key American players involved. You can read the full statement from the White House HERE and the House Oversight report titled ‘After Action Review of the Covid-19 Pandemic: The Lessons Learned and a Path Forward’ dated 4 December 2024 HERE. Midazolam murders: A son who refused to give up in exposing the truth For nearly six years, Jacqui Deevoy has been exposing the UK state-sanctioned Midazolam murders. Joining in her fight has been a son of a victim that she has referred to only as “the man who came to me with a shocking story of involuntary euthanasia within the NHS.” He wanted anonymity but a few months ago, he was ready to be named.
