it has been 4 years since my drum teacher finally dropped me as a student after 12 years of lessons 12 years! he’s like family to me after the first 5 years of fundamentals to advanced lessons, the remaining 7 years were masterclasses and achieving god level limb independence i’ve learned so much from him he’s also learned a thing or two from me in the last 4 years he’s become a big shot drummer and i couldn’t be happier for him well earned and well deserved for all that skill and talent he possesses now he’s texting me about jazz triplets i taught him when i was 16 and it makes me feel nice inside
