As a commitment to using decentralized protocols over systems like X, I’ve subscribed to Primal Premium 🌀 image

My company let people go. I was retained, but it’s always sad to see people go.

I'm watching Apple TV's 'Invasion'. It took a few episodes to get me curious but I'm starting to see more of the alien stuff and that's a little intriguing.

Building this CastQ interface goes along with the self sufficiency goal. I don't have to rely on any one user interface in order to share thoughts.

My current long term goal is to buy land. Something with forest and ideally water. Self sufficiency has been an interesting goal to me for a long time, and I'm finally getting closer to it being a real possibility.

I'm starting to create a little backlog text file in the CastQ project instead of posting the thoughts here. I'm not a very serious project manager, but I see the value.

I should probably consider putting my book reviews on decentralized protocols. I just kinda stopped publishing those for a bit, but I've still been writing them a little.

It would also be pretty easy to add image support, at least that's my guess. I think the complexity would be in conforming to protocols instead of getting the terminal UX to work. But image support would quickly change the vibe. Although I do love images and will probably experiment with that in the future.

It would be pretty easy to add AI to this CastQ terminal interface I'm building, but I want to be hesitant to do that. The posts are building out a sqlite database so I'd rather focus there for a while and make search as powerful as possible.

Something interesting about scheduling thoughts (and seeing the schedule) is the feedback loop it creates. It gives you a longer window of reflection before the thought is made more permanent in other minds.
