Good news on the probate end of things, I have found a new attorney and hopefully going to retain them this week to wrap up the last matter of the estate I'm handling. So that's one less stressful thing about to be crossed OFF my list! TY for your prayers and good mojo ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ image View quoted note โ†’

People who claim to be freedom enthusiasts yet busy themselves with statist slavery truly mystify me.

I posted this on one of my last days at twitter. Only one person followed me over here, and they're not active anymore because they found it confusing. Can't blame them. A lot of my mutuals on twitter just stay there and bitch about it, or they're monetized, so even negative engagement still pays them. You'll never catch me on Elon's payroll lol #onlynostr #nostrfirst #nostrornowhere image

Seeing a lot of people complain about shrinkflation at restaurants/fast food. First off, my usual response to things like this, is: I have food at home, and I cook and eat it at home (barring rare and exceptional dining experiences, which are few and far between anyway because most of it's shit), and that this is lazy behavior to begin with. My thoughts are that it's odd how many of these people demanded the govt DOUBLE minimum wage from $7.XX to $15/hour years ago, yet wonder HOW these companies could sustain that after all these years without the money having to come from somewhere. First sign of it was gatekeeping condiments/utensils so you have to ask for ketchup, forks, etc. when they stopped putting out tubs of packets for anyone to grab, then it was changing napkins to thin unbleached/un-printed, flimsier wrappers/containers. Next, portions got smaller & more expensive, while ingredients got padded with more fillers/additives/garbage preservatives. Then, you have a lot of places that installed kiosks to replace staff (very common in UK/Europe now). Either people decide to stop buying from these places and cook at home, or at least stop blaming them for what the govt did to force them into decreasing costs (and also stop voting for such bullshit and/or stop voting, period). You can't demand the government force businesses to increase wages and also not expect expense cuts and/or price increases. Pick a lane.
