A release of asking, finding, and never being hard to reach: run a poll in any chat, search people and groups as easily as messages, and let Cordn quietly keep you reachable on every coordinator you use. 📊 Ask the group: polls are here. Press + next to the message box and choose Poll — write a question (paste an image or video link right into it and it shows in the poll card), add two to ten options, decide whether people pick just one or as many as they like, and set an end time from an hour up to a week, or none at all. Results fill in live as votes land — bars, counts, and a details view that shows exactly who picked what. Changed your mind while it's open? Tap a different option: your latest pick is the one that counts, one vote per person. When the deadline passes, the poll marks itself closed and locks. 🔍 Search that finds everything. The search box is no longer just for messages: type a person's name to jump to their profile, a group title to open that chat, or any words from a message — and it digs through the full history, not just what's on screen. Inside an open chat it narrows to just that chat. The share picker got its own search too, with pinned groups staying on top. 📡 Reachable everywhere, automatically. Your key package — the contact card that lets people start a private conversation with you — is now kept published on every coordinator you use, so people there can always invite you. It's on by default (the switch is in Settings → Key packages), and if you're ever shown as unreachable, one tap on "Make me reachable" fixes every coordinator listed — including straight from the share dialog. 🔔 Notifications that keep coming. Many Android phones pause apps in the background to save battery, and that's what made Cordn's notifications stop or arrive late. Cordn now asks just once, at launch, for permission to keep running in the background — "Allow" is all it takes — and if the permission goes missing later, a small reminder appears above your chats with a one-tap fix. 👏 A quieter, calmer chat. Reaction lines now tell you about other people: your own reactions no longer show up as timeline lines (they're still on the message), and one person's burst of reactions collapses into a single line you can open to see each reaction and jump to the message it's about. Writing a multi-line message no longer makes the chat jump around as you type — the view stays put until you send. The long link itself leaves the message; Copy link and Show link keep the raw form at hand. 👋 Start from a profile, first try: the list of reachable people is there the moment you log in, starting a conversation takes far fewer round trips, and Retry actually probes instead of dead-ending. ▶ A timeline that keeps its place: videos no longer restart when new messages arrive, only what you actually see marks a group as read (the unread marker stays where you left it), and a reply in progress can no longer vanish and send as a plain message. ⏳ Messages that don't wedge: a message stuck behind the clock after a coordinator hiccup now recovers on its own as soon as the coordinator answers — and the clock finally says why it's waiting. Voice notes play right in the conversation with a seekable waveform and timer, and like everything in Cordn, they're end-to-end encrypted and private. Already available in Zapstore and obtanium. That's the headline of 0.3.0, but there's more: 🎨 A full UI/UX refresh across the whole chat app: a calmer chat home with clear tiles for starting a chat, checking notifications, and settings, a simple most-recent-first sidebar, and plain words throughout (Config is now Settings, welcomes are invitations).
