OK, I've built something. Heavily vibed, but great care/caution on it, on top of that.
This was to scratch an own itch, but if it serves some else too, here it goes: 
This is a TIDAL client (Linux, for now), that does not suck. And since I'm a COSMIC desktop fan-boy these days, it ships as a COSMIC applet too. Two forms, then: standalone, for COSMIC haters, and applet for lovers.
It can do anything the web UI can, hopefully. Focused heavily in easy discoverability.
If you're into TIDAL, give it a go.
