Question for my technical friends.
If we somehow got a fork enacting covenants on bitcoin, what’s to stop governments from forcing spending restrictions upon all bitcoin purchased on KYC exchanges in the future?
If bitcoin is a religion, it makes sense why we can’t come to an agreement on what it is.
Bitcoin is a mirror. It reflects whatever we seek most and says more about us than itself.
For an engineer, it’s the most beautiful system ever created. For someone struggling to find a sense of purpose, it reflects that and more. For the rest of us, it’s money.
Find someone who will defend you like the influencers defend the power law.
At some point, if we bitcoiners like calling out scams so much, we need to have a conversation about bitcoin mining stocks.

How many people buy bitcoin and never understand the full power of what they own?

If there’s one piece of advice I could pass along, let it be this.
Take initiative. If you want something to happen, take initiative. If you don’t, it won’t happen.
If you want to make friends, get their phone numbers. If you want to level up your career, ask about opportunities. If you want an event, organize it.
Make it happen or it won’t.

How long will it be before one of the zombie companies buying bitcoin has a custody fuck-up?
I had a nightmare last night that someone gave me 10 BTC but it was on Lightning.
FWIW, I do agree with Saylor for the most part.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Some changes are necessary but it’s not the job of a trillion-dollar protocol to make devs feel fulfilled.
