I might get dogged for saying this, but I don’t think Nostr’s killer app is censorship resistance or zaps. It’s social media neutrality and true content ownership. A future without algorithms benefits everyone, not just dissidents.
I hope Trump loves bitcoin a little longer than he loved Stormy Daniels.

Question for my technical friends. If we somehow got a fork enacting covenants on bitcoin, what’s to stop governments from forcing spending restrictions upon all bitcoin purchased on KYC exchanges in the future?
If bitcoin is a religion, it makes sense why we can’t come to an agreement on what it is.
Bitcoin is a mirror. It reflects whatever we seek most and says more about us than itself. For an engineer, it’s the most beautiful system ever created. For someone struggling to find a sense of purpose, it reflects that and more. For the rest of us, it’s money.
Find someone who will defend you like the influencers defend the power law.
At some point, if we bitcoiners like calling out scams so much, we need to have a conversation about bitcoin mining stocks. Holy mother of God do these things light money on fire.
How many people buy bitcoin and never understand the full power of what they own? Imagine holding the philosopher’s stone in your hand and thinking it’s just a rock.
