I agree with Graham Hancock that humanity is a species with amnesia.
I will add that it seems like we’re also a species with dementia, since we manage to forget so quickly that communism and erosion of freedom is a very bad idea.
It’s not brave to support the exact same narratives and causes as the state and mainstream media.
