Just released. Bragi editor v0.3.1 Bragi is a super lightweight code editor. If you like writing Odin or are lucky enough to have access to Jai compiler this editor is for you. It's written in Odin and uses SDL3 for native rendering. No webviews to be found! It uses vim like key bindings and has first class support for Odin and Jai with built in LSP support for both. It also has the popular fff search library built in. It has syntax highlighting for other languages. I understand this is a niche editor, but its been fun to build! Checkout the site. You can download pre-built binaries for macOS, Linux and Windows. On macOS and Windows, you have to allow it to run since its only ad-hoc signed.

I've been working on Seer again. I used Claude to build a pretty solid .NET Nostr library. As much as I hate windows, I just wanted to see what building a platform native desktop application would be like so I decided to revive Seer. Its a nostr DM/Marmot client. Right now for DM's it has read only for nip-04 messages. It also supports NIP-17 Direct messages and Marmot protocol messages! At the moment I can do 1-1 messaging with White Noise 😉 and I assume any other Marmot compliant clients? Not sure if there are any others. Still have to work on group messaging with Marmot but not far off. I will release and open source this stuff soon.

Working on a .NET Nostr lib and have gotten Marmot protocol working. You can see below the messaging from my sample cli and @White Noise macOS desktop. Still more to do before the lib is ready but coming along.

Anyone here like Godot game engine? I’ve finally figured out how to write a C GDExtension which allows me to include libsecp256k1. I’m now working on a Nostr GDExtension. It currently builds for all platforms. macOS, Linux, Windows, iOS, Android and web! You can use directly from Godots GDScript. I will make it available when I get it developed a bit further. More work to do but am very excited for this. I have a cool multiplayer space mining game idea based on pow I plan to build with this. 😀 Stay tuned!

Working on a long form reader/publisher application for nostr. Progress so far

I have a cool update to Coolr. You can now chat in multiple geohash's at the same time! Simply teleport to the geohash's you want chat in: /t #9q,#21m,#br Then you'll see the chats labeled with whatever geohash they are coming from. Then to chat in that geohash, just prefix your message like this: #9q Whats up!? It's also smart enough to connect to the closest relays for each geohash and only send the event to those. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of bitchat users don’t seem to realize they are chatting over the internet.

Bitchat users unite! I've just released the first build of my bitchat client. I ripped out a bunch of old code alot of the caching that was causing it to just get completely slow af. Still more work to do, but I think it works pretty well now. You can login with nostr extension, or just use an anon key. Built in spam filter which helps alot. Doesn't catch everything, but its a start. Run the command /h to see a list of commands. I still need to add in some basic things like formatting links, etc.

Spammers already flooding the chats. Might be worth requiring pow events. Not sure of that would stop them though. I’m afraid relays gonna start throttling ephemeral events. @calle @jack
