Treated myself to steak and bacon for lunch, because I deserved it. 😉Now onto a fast! image
I guess I’m going be easing back into 48 hr fasts, as I got hungry after 27 hrs. I’m looking forward to trying again soon. I made fajitas for my family. And made myself a chicken and steak fajita bowl with plain Greek yogurt on top. I came back for seconds. 😋
I’m happy (and full) now! Fueled up with chuck eye steak and over easy eggs, both topped with Baja Gold mineral sea salt. 😋 image
Cooking chuck eye steaks in brown butter for lunch! Also making fried eggs for a side dish. 🔥
My daughter’s favorite breakfast, (sometimes alongside eggs, bacon or sausage) is my homemade sourdough cinnamon toast! She uses butter, cinnamon and allulose. 😍 image
Finally got hungry at 1:30pm. I wanted something fast, so scrambled eggs topped with parmesan cheese for the win! Sometimes eggs are a comfort food, while other times they don’t sound good at all. 😂 Delicious meal nonetheless! image

Day 3 of OMAD, simply because my meals have been so satiating and it’s taking about 24 hrs or more to get hungry again. Works for me…I feel amazing! Bacon wrapped sirloins (I ate both, 14 ounces total) and a lot of butter! I had eggs multiple days in a row, so needed a break today.

I’m back to BBBE (beef, butter, bacon, eggs) this week and feeling fabulous already! 4 fried eggs (I broke one yolk), much more pork belly than what’s on the plate 😉, plus butter. I didn’t get hungry until 24 hrs later. image

Bone-in ribeye from Independence Ark Farm. Grass fed, grass finished and delicious! Never been disappointed with any of the meat from their farm. Topped with Irish butter and Maldon sea salt flakes 🔥

After 3 years carnivore (today!), I’m looking back at some pics from along the way. These are from last Fall, when I felt I was at my IDEAL health, weight and body composition @ 45 yrs old. I was between 130-132 lbs. Months before that, I enjoyed seeing the scale go under 130 but didn’t feel quite as good that low. I have experimented many times and kept proving to myself this fact: For me to maintain my personal ideal health, I need to eat mostly BBBE (beef, butter, bacon, eggs), occasional dairy, keep my stress level as low as possible, get good quality sleep, strength train 2 days/wk, intermittent fasting (1-2 meals/day with some 48 hr fasts in the mix) Blessed and thankful for this journey the last 3 years!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼💕

Egg scramble for brunch! I might have added too much cheese, but it was delicious! I enjoy adding Baja Gold mineral sea salt. It’s intense and crunchy! 🔥 image

1st meal after my road trip was a fatty steak! Just what I needed to get back to the grind this week. It was cooked ahead and reheated. Busy summer! image

Reverse searing these steaks in the oven to take on my girl’s trip! I’ll slice them and add to the cooler to make some easy meals while on the road. 💪 image
