We need to construct something that allows our users to move their entire accounts as a blob to another platform in a snap (no, not Ubuntu, clever man) so that our users can never be cut off. We should perhaps abandon the idea of a native app entirely and launch a Progressive Web App like Gab did that will run on any device no matter what Apple or Google says." Perhaps this, given the "Censorship Resistance" mindset to Nostr people should have been the position from the start. Because Andrew Torba and Gab are pariahs amongst many they would not (if they even know any of Gabs architecture woes) have sought to emulate him lest they and Nostr be associated with "Gab Ethics" (free speech). The answer to Nostr client on iOS and Google Play is to go 100% Progressive Web App. Andrew Torba I'm sure would be willing to help with the design, saving developers many hours and tears of frustration. Why continue to beg like Plebs when you can write software and be totally free? Gab has resisted the German and French governments successfully and others. No one can ban their app or have any control over them whatsoever. The App Store and Google Play are SPOFs that can damage the short term ability to use Nostr; why wait for the hammer to come down? Do it now. Turn your back on relying on the behemoths and begging like peasants. If you don't know anything about Gab, you should learn about it and their battles that they've won very astonishingly and bigly. Or not!

People in Bitcoin would do well to understand what the word "Jurisdiction" means. If a court and legislatures in Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia outlawed Bitcoin, all the huffing and puffing ignorant Ugly Americans wouldn't be clutching their pearls about it, but if it is Britain that does it, all of a sudden, THIS IS A HUGE ATTACK ON RIGHTS! Americans don't understand their own country, why it is special and why the judgements of backwards countries like Britain simply don't count for much to anyone who can actually THINK. If Britain never ever used Bitcoin forever and the rest of the world settled on it, what on earth do you think 67.33 million people not using Bitcoin compared to 7.888 BILLION people in terms of difference of outcome would make? The real question is this; do you have ANY APPRECIATION OF ANY KIND OF THE SCALE IF THE POPULATION OF THE EARTH? Do you know what the difference between a BILLION people and A MILLION PEOPLE is? If you do, you don’t care a HOOT about what silly little Britain decides to do about Bitcoin; the world is an absolutely HUGE PLACE with literally BILLIONS of people on it. If Bitcoin served only ONE SEVENTH of the world’s population, it would be 117.15 times as many people than are in Britain, and there are TWO BILLION unbanked so the number is probably three times 117.15, taking into account everyone else who will be onboarded. People like to whine and go into panic mode about tiny little inconsequential places that go anti-Bitcoin, but the reality is the situation is EXTREMELY POSITIVE for anyone WHO HAS A GLOBE IN THEIR HOUSE and who knows how to COUNT. You people need to GROW UP and stop HYPERVENTILATING about problems that are literally NOTHING compared to the big picture. I'm afraid that RFK is not going to be the White Knight to save America from the Federal Reserve and restore order through Bitcoin. He has just explicitly said he is not for the end of the Federal Reserve. Anyone putting their hopes into RFK is going to be disappointed, just like they were with Barack Huesein Obama. It’s pretty obvious to see, and now, since RFK has all but openly rejected the death of the US dollar (which is inevitable, thanks to math) you can expect a theoretical RFK regime to do evertything it can to prop up (or by inaction, prop up) the fiat scam. The only chance America has is GEPOTUS who could be persuaded to pivot to Bitcoin to Keep America Great as the worlds number one financial capital. He will know that killing the dollar (or letting it die and then feigning innocence) means erasing the debt to China and other countries, making it the final blow of the dollar weapon, and freeing America to grow its economy on Bitcoin. Re-Launching the US Dollar will be next to impossible if every American is already using Bitcoin internally and globally. Anyone with a brain cell can see this, and the answer is obvious. RFK will not be nominated by the Democrats. If he is, he can't win with his explicit and explosive record of Socialist ideas, the idea that he is a member of America's Royal Family, and that intolerable voice. Add to this is open oppozition to "Big Pharma" who GEPOTUS actually believes in, and the choice of the Crony Capitalists is clear; Donald John Trump is a far less disruptive and risky POTUS than a theoretical RFK. If RFK offered that he was going to obey his oath of office and back off from regulating Bitcoin, you could imagine holding your nose for that reason alone, since Bitcoin can save America from its evil govenment, but now that that is off the table, there is no reason whatsover to accept his proposition.
