The internet died in about 2018, and again in 2020. Looking through photography sites I see so many "new" uploads that are just reposts of shoots originally done years ago, until about 2018, its weird. Also on YouTube, I've been looking at kids shows for my offspring and noticed that so many channels are existing by constantly reposting episodes from again, before 2018, or up to 2020 sometimes. I see it over and over again in many different areas, websites abandoned around 2018-2020, bands that stopped posting music, I would even say, there's been very little really groundbreaking content anywhere since 2018, games, films, anime, tv series, music (though that died around 2003 at best). I could be imagining all this, and just seeing patterns where none really exist, but I'm convinced there's something going on. Even so far as most western cultures stalled and then went into reverse from 2018 onwards, weird. I know the "pandemic" had something to do with 2020 onwards, but I think that just accelerated what was already going on, deliberately or otherwise. Any thoughts?

VOTING. I used to be pretty much "dont bother voting its a waste of time", I now realise I was wrong, in fact I have discovered that some people encouraging us not to vote are in fact manipulating us. Here's the thing, yes, no matter who you vote the system carries on, however we are missing the point, we don't need to vote less, we need to vote more. I hear people saying " how the hell did that person end up on the school board/mayor/council leader/local rep/MP" etc.. The answer is that activists vote, and those with an agenda vote. While they're telling you that voting is pointless, they're out there voting like crazy to get their people into every possible position. And those add up, before long its them in charge, and by then it's too late. So vote, vote in every thing you can vote for, these activists rely on people being too lazy, too disillusioned, too black pilled to vote and so, often with very small numbers, they win. Vote people, vote vote vote.

Nostr is just so damn wholesome most of the time. Its funny because this is technically an unmoderated space, and yet people pretty much behave. Even the more far out their opinions are presented with humor or decent arguments behind them. It proves something, I'm not sure what yet, but its a very interesting observation :)

What was the greatest 8bit home micro, and why was it the commodore 64? I jest (I mean the c64 was the best but other opinions may exist), there was the Apple II, Atari 800, ZX Spectrum, maybe the TI 99/4A,the Vic20? Amstrad CPC464, and many more. What rocked your boat?

You got to be crazy, you gotta have a real need You gotta sleep on your toes and when you're on the streets You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat With your eyes closed Then moving in silently, down wind and out of sight You gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking And after a while, you can work on points for style Like the club tie and the firm handshake A certain look in the eye, an easy smile You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to So that when they turn their backs on you You'll get the chance to put the knife in Pink Floyd, Dogs lyrics. Just makes me think of bankers.
