The athenean king Theseus (the slayer of Minotaur) with his friend Peirithous, abducted the 12-year-old child Helen (who later became known as Helen of Troy). Due to this, Helen's twin brothers Castor and Polydeuces (also known as Dioskouroi) threatened to destroy Athens. In the area where Theseus has hidden Helen, a suburb of Athens at the time (now part of Athens) was living a guy named Academos. He felt pity of Helen and told her brothers where she was, saving her, while also saving Athens from potential destruction. So Academos became a hero and the area named Academia. Later Plato had his school in this area and his school was named Academia also. With the passage of time the name became related with high education. Now that you read this, try not to remember this story the next time you hear the word academic etc 😀. Btw all the persons involved in this story have their own myths. For example did you know that the constellation of Gemini (twins) took its name by Helen's brothers Dioskouroi? Try not to remember that too 😀

And finally we started making Tarhana, a traditional kind of food in the balkans, Turkyie, Armenia and i think Iran, maybe elsewhere too. I used our goats milk of course. This is the first batch, there will be 15 kilos or so at the end. It will dry outside in the shadow, for a week or so, in the yard under the grapes.
