Maybe BIP110 will be the first example of a new type of way to change Bitcoin. Maybe "forcing" something not perfect through is the way to get "consensus" on what needs to be addressed in Bitcoin. Like BIP110 isn't perfect, but if it succeeds it will force those who care about Bitcoin to put energy into the concerns that the BIP110 proponents care about. Maybe CTV could have been activated this way? Maybe things in the future will be activated this way?

@BTC Map I've been to tree different places that allegedly accept Bitcoin through Square. I've had to pay with fiat at all three. I leave comments explaining that it didn't work. 1. Is Square even helping "merchant adoption" or just pumping numbers on the map? 2. Should I report places like this to be removed or just comment to alert others that it's a waste of their time?
