Clarification on how NWC works in Blitz There are now two wallets: your main wallet and your NWC wallet. Why two wallets? On Android and iOS, there’s encrypted storage used to keep sensitive information safe. We take it a step further by encrypting your seed again with either your PIN or biometric data (depending on your settings). So your seed is double encrypted — once by the system, and again by Blitz. However, this means the user has to interact with the wallet to decrypt it. That doesn’t work with NWC, since events happen in the background. So, we created a separate wallet, derived from your main wallet’s seed. Why do you need to know this? If you want to send funds through NWC, your NWC wallet needs a balance. You can: • Receive funds into it, or • Transfer from your main wallet to your NWC wallet (via the NWC wallet page) Our top priority is security. This two-wallet setup ensures your main wallet is never exposed. We’re continuing to improve the user experience and already have a few ideas in the works.
