The @Exergy_LLC team is hard at work testing different hashrate heating boilers in our office's new demo site at The Space.
We're having fun trying out an M64 in the RY3T Mini and Heat Core HS05.

This is amazing electrical work.
BUT
In bitcoin mining, heat is your friend if your miner is used in heating applications.
Bitcoin makes it possible to break up the data center and bring the computer that pays to where you need warmth.
First time this is possible.
Building off my Hashrate Heating pitch to Juneau, AK..
Several of us Heatpunks dove into the weeds on resilience compared to mega miners, new hashrate heating hardware, education, and challenges associated with bitcoin heaters.
Enjoy!

I helped the Denver BitDevs community literally just ask local bitcoiners for money every month until we had enough to rent a building.
A few bucks at a time. No giant donors. We built a movement.
The Space is grass roots to the core.

One of the few companies who get it.
Shout out to all the people making it happen.
And thank you @econoalchemist for putting together the curated newsletter.
Hashrate Heating ≠ Bitcoin Mining Heat Recapture.
Recapture drags heat demand to data centers and mega mines. Where you run the mining business and sell heat when convenient.
Bitcoin’s network characteristics flip this. It’s the first time you can break up the data center and bring the heating computers (miners) to appliances and infrastructure of all sizes that need heat.
You don’t have to chase cheap power in remote spots and bringing a green house. Replace expensive heat sources. Earn bitcoin rebate when you need warmth.
Hashrate Heating, not heat recapture, will hyper-decentralize mining.

And for the super nerds who read this complete thread, we have a public Heatpunk forum for documenting this emerging industry. Share your experiences, learn from other people's mistakes, and join the movement!

And if you want to learn all the Hashrate Heating fundamentals, I authored a comprehensive book on the subject. Physical prints and free PDFs available on the @BraiinsMining website!

Earlier this month I had the honor of giving a keynote about Hashrate Heating to the local residents of Juneau, AK.
My goal was not to explain why bitcoin mining heat recapture makes sense for miners - but rather, why heating systems powered by hashrate makes sense compared to other heating appliances and infrastructure.
Everyone needs heat. It’s time for an upgrade.
Hashrate Heating Potential in Juneua:
- 90% cheaper than heating oil
- Millions of dollars paid out by the BTC network
- Clean electric heat with no emissions
- Hyper-decentralizes bitcoin mining
Give my talk a listen and see what it’s all about.

One of the GOATs at breaking down complex subjects into digestible chunks!
Next Space Summit happening this October.
Wyatt is one of the most organized and dedicated people I know. It’s going to be a banger.
And for the pleb miners like me who are too dumb for finance talk - we’ll still have The Heatpunk Summit in Feb 🫡
