I love nostr but is everyone’s global feed also virtually unusable due to spam, incompatible languages, bots, etc? We need feed aggregators. As long as they are open source and easily switchable, like BTC mining pools, then there is little centralization risk. Monetized aggregators are the way to fund the relays without the need for tokenomics or altruism.
