GM 🌧️ Yesterday we moved from our paradise at the beach. We aimed to leave at 12, ended up leaving at 2pm. 🤣 Not too bad of an effort with almost everyone in the house feeling less than 100% 🤷‍♀️ Now, we're bouncing around friends and family until we fly out in just over a week. ✈️ We'll miss these #sunsets, I'm sure. 🌅 But I'm also excited and filled with wonder about where we might end up and who we will meet along the way. ✨ #digitalnomad #family #travel #worldschooling #unschooling #decentralizededucation

It's been a day of packing (sort of). 4 sick kids and a husband with man flu (you can guess who got the sickest out of everyone in the house right?!) makes the best adventure trying to pack and do last minute cleaning things. 🤦‍♀️ Thankfully my cleaner did most of the painful stuff. Like scrubbing walls and windows. 😬 I took photos of all the pages of our Vietnamese Cook Book. One extra thing we can ditch for our next world adventure. 🤣 This was followed by a quick stove top and oven clean, with a kid throwing a tantrum for a cracker (we didn't have any, so she had to settle for a chocolate biscuit 🍪). Sadly, I didn't make it to taking photos of my giant journal from September to December 2023. 📝 Tomorrow is a new day, and the last official day. Two #sunsets left. Tonight was beautiful. I can't really remember how old I was when I set my dream to someday visit New York. I remember being a teen at school the day the towers were hit. My friend and I took the rest of the day off and sat at my house watching the news which was playing back to back footage of what was happening. 💔 It was unbelievable that could happen. Anyway, when the memorial was built, I heard it was beautiful and it must have been around that time when I decided I wanted to visit someday. This year I finally had the opportunity to go. It was a dream come true. 🗽 Approaching the memorial I felt the energy shift. It was surreal to be there. 💛 Later that evening we were able to go up to the top of the World Trade Tower Aspire restaurant. The trip up in that lift was incredible. Watching the New York Skyline grow, seeing the rise of the towers and then blink, they were gone in an instant. It took my breath away. Sometimes I think it's hard to appreciate or even comprehend what a place was like way back in the early days. Anyway. Just seeing the posts around the internet and work slack today made me reflect on being there. Which inspired this. 💜💜💜 #newyork
