I was actually wondering why so much BITCOIN CONTENT IS BORING AS FUCK. 
Christopher Hitchens constantly argued that you should be just as skeptical of your own side as you are of your opponents…
 But what I see in large parts of the Bitcoin tribal space (especially X/ Twitter) is the exact opposite: there's very little curiosity left. Instead of encouraging real debate, it feels more and more like a religious tribe…. preaching the same old phrases ("Shitcoiner," "Bitcoin fixes this"), treating Bitcoin's price performance as validation of their worldview, and repeating the same talking points over and over again. It's become an echo chamber where most Bitcoiners congratulate each other for having "discovered" Bitcoin while endlessly shitting on the fiat world.

If your beliefs become untouchable, you've stopped thinking. You're just defending an ideology.

Most Bitcoin content is boring as FUCK. It’s all same same … but wants to be different. Bitcoin needs more thinkers. Less echo chamber. More ideas. I was desperately looking for inspiration, but I couldn’t find it in the Bitcoin space. To be fair, the last Bitcoin-related book that genuinely moved me was The Genesis Book. It was a breath of fresh air. It wasn’t preachy, didn’t spend half the book shitting on fiat.. it actually had substance, history. Out of pure boredom, I started exploring people who genuinely loved ideas, arguments, and debate. That’s when I found Christopher Hitchens. Now I’m snorting his debates and his books like lines of cocaine. I finally feel intellectually satisfied and challenged … and alive

As Mahatma Gandhi once said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” Bali hosts ~300% tourists compared to its population every year. And this is the crowd …. the awakened, spiritual, conscious Western nomads who came here to find themselves. And somehow lost any sense of responsibility along the way.

I am in Bali now for 2 weeks …. And I’m too old for this place. The crowd is easy to spot. Yoga mats. Linen bags. Tattoos. Matcha to go. Scooters. No helmet. No shirt. It’s almost a UNIFORM/ BRAND of the consciously awakened nomad, spiritually aligned, recently escaped from the 9–5 pressure of the West. Three months in Bali. Sometimes more. Living well on prices they’d complain about back home. Sitting in cafés, MacBooks open, talking about healing, spirituality, the next cacao ceremony. And how much they LOVE this island. Sure you do. You love your photos. The aesthetic. The affordable “healthy lifestyle”…. bowls, matcha, sunlight. But DO YOU actually love Bali? Because loving a place isn’t just consuming what’s beautiful. It’s taking responsibility for what isn’t. And the other Bali exists too…. trash in the streets, sick street dogs, stray cats, the parts that don’t fit your feed. They don’t disappear just because you crop them out. So here’s a thought: Skip one smoothie. One. And donate that money to the people actually doing the work here… cleaning up what your version of Bali ignores. Or at least BE HONEST. You don’t love Bali. You love the version of it that looks good on your social media feed.
