My friend brought up “crypto” last night for the first time. He knew I was into it and I told him I’m only into bitcoin. He has $700 in xrp and $150 in btc. It’s pretty much gambling money to him but I still told him he should sell and put it all into btc. He’s a relatively new grad and doesn’t have much money to his name. His response was that all of the banks are about to use it and it’s going to skyrocket. And that his dad had a significant amount of money in xrp too. I didn’t lecture him any further. What’s your response to someone like this other than “xrp is a scam”?
