A great deal of code is being written in Rust. It is a very popular, and one might even say fashionable, language. In today’s era of "vibe coding", the specific language of implementation matters less, and people seem to choose largely based on the advantages offered by a given language or environment, while ignoring the drawbacks.


bsky next to the nick doesn't raise any questions for me at all. Of course, there are plenty of weirdos in Nostr too, from the opposite side, who want to destroy NATO, the dollar, the garden, and the "golden billion"… But they don't characterize Nostr, and as long as we haven't yet collapsed into a ghetto of auth, wot, and the like, we sort of still have freedom of speech here.
