It’s fascinating how in Japan the ingredients of a soap base don’t have to be disclosed. In the EU, even something like glycerin must be listed just because it was present during manufacturing, while in Japan the composition is kept secret — and you can only obtain it through a special request process with the proper authorization.
So in the EU, you’ll find glycerin listed even when it isn’t really there — and in Japan, you’ll find soap that’s made of… soap.

Нет ничего волнительней чем оповещение от Почты России "вам отправлено письмо из районного суда". Понятия не имею, что и по какому поводу, но буду ждать понедельника, когда это письмо доставят.
Я заебался с литьевыми капсулами. Всё, больше не могу. Увижу вино с этой хуйнёй — никогда не куплю. Я в принципе не понимаю этого «настоящее вино = только натуральная пробка», делайте вы пластик ебаный, но нет же, они берут весьма дрянную натуральную пробку и ебошат на неё горячий пластик сверху! Естественно, проебываясь по технологии, в результате чего эта пластиковая дрянь въедается в их сраную натуральную пробку. И снять такую капсулу без ножа невозможно! Местных виноделов как прорвало. Они почти все на эту «технологию 21 века» перешли. Понять-то их просто: потребитель всё ещё радуется натуральной пробке, он ведь тупой, а они радуются дешевизне капсулы, герметичности и невозможности её незаметно снять. Но я их понимать не собираюсь. Или пусть делают обычную пластиковую пробку без необходимости плавить на ней что-либо, или пусть делают нормальную капсулу дорого-богато (чему конечно их продукт даже близко не соответствует). А и туда, и туда одновременно, это пиздец.

В России «тихо и незаметно» сделали свой GitHub. Это далеко не первый «GitHub у нас дома», но, видимо, последний, потому что в этот раз делал его Яндекс. С нового года он выйдет из тестового состояния типичной яндексовской поебени, не меняющейся со времён blogs.ya.ru; приблизительно тогда же на GitHub найдут экстремистские материалы, просто потому, что GitHub от Яндекса, естественно, платный, и конкуренты ему не нужны.

Even though I live in an apple-growing region, the locals never knew how to make cider. Gradually, some people started. I tried “our” cider for the first time. Sparkling drinks aren’t really my thing, but I guess I could give it a chance. The only thing is, the cider was dry or semi-dry. As I understand it, sweet ciders are more typical of the US, while in Europe they’re usually dry.
Well, the story of Electronic Arts has come to an end. It’s still hard to believe. Sure, for many people EA is just a woke trash heap and a football casino, but for me it was awesome games on Sega Mega Drive and 3DO (By the way, if you look at the old logos of Electronic Arts and 3DO, you’ll easily notice the similarity — and that’s no coincidence.)
Of course, I won’t miss it as much as I miss Sega itself, but it’s still sad.

A great deal of code is being written in Rust. It is a very popular, and one might even say fashionable, language. In today’s era of "vibe coding", the specific language of implementation matters less, and people seem to choose largely based on the advantages offered by a given language or environment, while ignoring the drawbacks.
Russians flatly refuse to acknowledge any of their own crimes, and when terrorist attacks are staged by their own security services inside the country, they convince themselves these are the work of Ukrainians or radical Islamists.
It’s surprising, that Israel refuses to acknowledge what it’s doing in Gaza as genocide. I think partly because on paper, in the documents, everything looks proper and neat.
And you know who else seemed to have everything "not so bad"? There were Germans who, even after the war, still didn’t believe in the Holocaust — until they went on tours of the concentration camps.
Did you know that Jesus not only could walk on water and turn water into wine, but also travel through time? This explains why Hitler didn’t die and why the Nazis got their base on the Moon.
